I had a terrible experience trying to set this up in my home. The app does not have a decent troubleshooting section, and no matter what, I could not get it to control the three lights. App would say lights on, when they were off; dimmer switch controlled two bulbs but app controlled only one. Anyway, will be returning as I have no patience for poor installation instructions given the high standard set by other tech companies.

After a while it quits wowing the Alexa ap. Some the light go on and off randomly. My hue account is not accessible. I would recommend this crap to anyone.

Excellent product but wish the bulbs had a brighter out put

The Hue lights are very expensive and not easy to program even with the bridge.

They go out after a year, or malfunction and turn off and on by themselves. I would Not recommend .......

They give me used items for the price of new. It’s ridiculous I never buy anything again form BestBuy

If it doesn’t work on the first try don’t fight it. Trade it in. I have called customer seevice 3 times with 3 different devices and its a combination of lets turn it off and back on and try again or have you tried a different cable.

No brainer, DO NOT invest in this junk! Mostly does not work consistanly. If your power goes out.the whole system needs to be rebooted, very time consuming. Neat toy, but very Frustrating,!

Bridge and remote are cheap quality, bulbs are excellent, only bulbs get 5 star rating. If you can only buy bulbs ditch the bridge

Light strip is very weak and snapped after being moved from one room to another. I was super careful with the strip and making sure it didn't bend on a light. I have to exchange it.

Ordered the multi color bulbs but when I installed 2 of the bulbs were the white ones. I tried calling best buy but I couldnt get to a representative. Very frusturating.

These lightbulbs were very easy to set up initially through the Philips Hue app and then sync to Home app. I like asking my HomePod to change the colors or turn off the lights. It’s convenient to be able to turn off downstairs lights from upstairs and have Siri confirm the lights are off. I also set up helpful automations like having my hallway light turn on when I come home. Scenes are another feature I enjoy using. I saved scenes with different brightness and colors for reading, movies and video games. It’s fun to change up all the lighting and colors as often as I want with Siri commands. I’m really happy with these and plan on changing out most of my lights for more of them.

Very bummed as it was not the proper kit and I do not have endless time to be on hold. I suggest fixing all of it!

Opened and used. Twice this has happened at 2 stores.

My bestfriend has a whole house filled with various Hue products and after spending the summer house sitting I had to at least set up a few in my home. The ability to set the various colors and the automation for when I am out of town helps a ton. The upfront cost is worth overlooking when you realize they will last for years and years

You'll never find anything better. I have about 30 units and they have never failed me and also have the best longevity of all its competitors. I have had 80% of my units for a decade+. No issues with compatibility, app, or connections. The Phillips Hub is the backbone of my entire system encompassing almost 100 devices. *I've tried all of the competition , and outside of Govee they've all been disappointing. "Go HUE or go home"
