No way to replace Bridge (hub)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a lot of Philips Hue bulbs and sensors. Recently one of my Bridges started malfunctioning--it kept disappearing from my app. I figured it needed to be replaced, so started looking into it. Turns out, you cannot swap Bridges and port over all your bulbs, rooms, scenes and schedules! The best you can do it reset the bridge, and therefore put all bulbs into discovery mode. Then you'd have to start over and import ALL the bulbs/sensors again and start setting up new rooms, new scenes, new schedules. Imagine if your Bridge died and you couldn't reset it (and the bulbs)? You'd have to then reset each bulb individually! Big miss, so I warn you with a one star rating.
