This is a high quality product and of great convenience. The light switches in my apartment are at inconvenient locations. So telling alexa to switch them off is convenient. PS: 1 have a 700sq ft apartment. I wouldn't recommend people to buy more than 3 bulbs -4 bulbs for an apartment this size as the bulbs are very expensive. Also it makes sense to buy the white/ambient bulbs over color as I assume most people will use these colors most commonly used and cheaper. However color is recommended for home owners.

I previously had the first gen Phillip's Hue kit with the old style of bulbs. It took me a while to take plunge and buy the updated model, but I'm glad I did. The colors are more accurate, the connection to the bridge is more solid I feel, and the whole reason I upgraded... the ability to tell Alexa to turn my lights on and off. Yes!! A plus to this kit is that my old bulbs are compatible with it. As I previously mentioned though, the colors on the newer bulbs are way better, so I have the old bulbs in a different room.

Easy to integrate into a smart home setup. Colors are vibrant. Control through Alexa works well if the names of the devices are unique.

I love Phillips Hue smart lights. Every bulb in my home is a hue bulb. Easy to set up and looks cool with all of the color combos

easy to use with when downloading the app, the only issue is the hub which should connect via wifi instead of a cable to the modem

I consider the Hue light systems on of the best investments I ever made. I control all lights from bright to dim/ off and on from my phone. The features are many and the results are enjoyed much more then initially imagined!

I absolutely love this set because I got everything I needed to start setting up Philips hue lights around my household and I’ve already been using them for at least 3 years. Great set, definitely worth the money, especially when it’s on sale!

I returned my less expensive Sengled and bought this - no regrets. The colors are beautiful, they are reliable and easy to set up.

Another excellent BB product available at other stores for a higher price at the moment of purchase. Just great customer experience. So easy to install!!! I actually hesitated to install it due to the fear of the time and effort it would have taken me. But it was FLAWLESS guys!!! Took me only 5 min;) it even paired with my DESKTOP PC!!!! It’s so smart and automation is INSANE. Get it!!! If you can.

Love these things. The hub keeps it to one simple wired connection to your router... setup is easy and the app works great!

Setting this group was a snap, It took 10 minutes to get it up and running. life is better in color.

While a bit more expense than other smart bulbs, the Philips Hue system has the advantage of using a Zigbee radio signal from the Hue hub to control the bulbs, so it doesn't tie up the bandwidth on your home wi-fi that you need for streaming video, video chats, and all other Internet activities. The color quality and dimming quality is top notch. I'd rather pay a bit more to have the best smart bulb system than settle for less to save some money.

The cost for Hue is super expensive compared to other companies. I use other brands for mundane things and these for my game room. I recommend them if you want a lot of flexibility and also if you use Razer game gear as the two work well together. So much so I am swapping out my game gear for Razer equipment to complete the look. I truly hope the price goes down on these on a regular basis because I would prefer to use nothing but Hue lights for all my lighting needs in the house.

This is a great starter kit for those who want an easy point of entry into smart homes. Just wish it wasn't so expensive!

These lights are amazing. I like how you create certain routines for the lights and not worry about “crap, I forgot to turn off the light(s) last night.” Setup was super easy through the app. For the people complaining about it not being fully wireless Is not that bad. At least the communication with the bulbs and bridge are wireless and not have to worry about also running wires to each individual bulb and other accessories. No complaints about this product at all.

Got these as a present to myself. Easy setup and love the ability to dim and change colors to set moods. Wish it had some better programming options so a scene could be easier to set up.
