I got this because my 5 year old is afraid of the dark. What I really like, is that I can use it as his night lamp, and set the light at how dark I would like his room to be, in order to fall asleep. I can then turn off his light from my phone, once he is asleep. I deducted a star, because sometimes I have issues connecting thru the app itself. Apple home kit is way more stable than the Hue app. Great product!

Great bulbs. No problems using them with the Philips Hue app, or Alexa. Highly recommend.

Loving the Hue lights. These are exactly what I was looking for. You have to have the starter kit, but once you have that, you can just keep adding new bulbs. There are quite a few apps that work with them. The kids have a great time setting up their own lighting effects.

I have many hue lights. Most of my lights are not the colored ones but these are great!

These lights are great. I didn't know if I would really use these wireless lights, but after getting them, I'm mad i didn't do it sooner! They were a great touch along with the Christmas decorations in our outdoor lights! Only complaint is the color reproduction is mediocre...Yellow and green are roughly indistinguishable. Blues and reds are great, but anything using green/yellow is poor.

These are expensive, but they really do some awesome colors and different "scenes". They work with other systems like Nest, etc. More then just a bulb you can control via phone, it's part of a larger system that can make your house a little more livable.

The starter kit is the best value since it comes with a bridge. After that, you can add all the lights you want. I needed a fourth for my room. I plan to add more of these throughout the house over time. I also want to use other Phillips Hue products.

I have been very happy with my Phillips Hue White and color lighting. Yes, they are expensive, but have a long life and the colors are perfect for whatever mood you're in. Additionally, Phillips Hue has created fun apps to make your lights fun.

I love these bulbs. The app could be a bit better. Thus the 4 stars and not 5.

I specifically bought this for support of veterans using a green light. I have researched home security products for almost 2 years and never heard any negative comment. I have had great results and am very happy with the results

The Hue is totally awesome and can be combined with other apps that expand the product. I continue to increase the number of lights in our system. Have not yet, but will in the near future try will add a light strip too.

The Basement / Theater room has 4 of these installed plus the lightstrip behind the TV. Pretty amazing to change the scenes. I impress ever you comes over. Slowly adding these and the Hue White bulbs throughout the house.

I absolutely love the Phillips Hue Bulbs!! I have 7 of them now in my apartment and I'm almost 100% there! I'll keep buying them though, they make the apartment lighting so much more comfortable all around. 10/10 stars!!

I absolutely love the Hue lighting system. Tho the system is expensive, the customization and efficiency of it out-weighs the price. This specific bulb is perfect for any normal light fixture that isn't a pot light.

I bought several of these bulbs to add to my starter kit. I tried some of the cheaper brands, didnt work at all. Good brand to trust and these lights look awesome!

I am new to hue, but it seems the app and bulbs received an upgrade recently. Ability to tune white bulbs is ideal, and color good for fun. App works ok, and has widgets for android. Integrates with Amazon echo.

Overall I am very pleased with the Hue lights. There were however a few issues. Number 1, either the Hue Bridge or the Lights themselves can have a sluggish response time, one light likes to occasionally become unreachable and switch to a regular yellow color. Also, would definitely recommend these for lamps, etc and not fixtures!

If you are a fan of smart lighting and the full color spectrum, this is a great product. The 800 lumen hue bulbs are great, provide loads of color options and scenes and work well with Siri and Alexa
