This is an awesome light bulb. Yes, it's kind of expensive, but the functionality is great, and it's integration with the Amazon Echo/Dot and Google Home is seamless through the Philips Hue Bridge.

These lights are awesome. Had friends over I turned them on and the quickly started to ask questions about it and they were very interested in buying some. I will keep buying more in the near future

I have reviewed the Hue system recently. I have found that the Hue white and color ambience bulbs, using varying light fixtures, give you as many lighting options as the more costly Bloom and Iris.

Wow!! Super cool technology that allows you to control lighting in your house with these bulbs (kinda $$$) and a hub/bridge connected to your router. Love it!! Can set the mood from anywhere.

I added this bulb to my white starter kit that came with two white bulbs. It easily connected and was added through the app. The system has worked great so far and responds well to Alexa.

The bulb works great. It changes the ambient light in my room. Nice thing is you can use Siri on your IPhone or just your IPhone or IPad with the Hue App. This needs the Hub in order to work.

My home suddenly feels super futuristic! Voice controlled lighting is so cool. I thought the novelty would wear off after a few days but it's been over a month and it's still awesome!

I've recently purchased the kit and grabbed this extra bulb. They state that these bulbs will last about 14 years if used 4 hours a day. Find that hard to believe but we'll see over time. I'll post my followup 14 years from now.

We love the entire Hue line. We are using the colored bulbs in our media room to change the ambiance depending on what we are watching. Makes each experience unique and fun!

Control your lights from cell phone anywhere. They change colors and brightness. The only con is if shade is dark the light does not get bright enough to read a book.

I have several Hue bulbs throughout my house, and I like that I can use Amazon Echo to turn on my lights. The Philips Hue native software is functional, but only 3rd party apps can make the lights cycle through colors while on. The native software is BORING.

Great for turning on lights remotely when you've been out longer than expected or on vacation. though the colored bulbs shine when used for ambiance.

It is a quality light. I don't know yet if it is the app or the bulbs, but I feel like my green and yellow is saturated with yellow. I want a nold green and orange, but I think it is the app that is too stupid too get that. I love the red,blue,purple.

Love the ability to change room lighting to different colors especially when watching movies and during holidays like Halloween to entertain grandkids.
