Wide range of colors, good brightness, syncs with all my other Hue bulbs and controls. Bought on sale, this is closer to a price I'm willing to pay for these bulbs.

Amazing bulbs with pretty colors and an easy free app

If you're looking for the best color changing bulbs, these are really are the ones. Yes, there are cheaper brands out there, but often their quality suffers or their apps/remotes fail. Philips is a known brand and from personal experience standby their stuff when things go wrong. Any type of smart-home product you can think of these will work with it. I currently just use their Hue app, which works fine for the most part. I do wish however these could be a little less expensive, you get a lot for the price but it is tempting to see how other brands with their bulbs can offer you five for the price of one of these. The 800 lumen bulbs can also be a bit dim, while the newer 1100 are a noticeable step up they are not a night and day difference. Also the Hue app could use a little more refinement, it can be a tad confusing and I wish simple actions like a basic color pallet, say you want all the bulbs to be red, didn't require you to create your own custom scene to do so. Something like the other brands remotes where you can quickly tap a single color tone would be handy.

Philips Hue products are notoriously cost prohibitive, but the quality I’ve experienced, the ‘wow’s that I get from family and friends when they walk in the door, the ease of setup, and seemless Himekit integration make for an experience I’ve scarcely seen from competing brands. From the themes you can save and set, to 3rd party application integration, these bulbs are excellent, and my only complaint remains that they cost too much.

They make my office into a beautiful space. Colored, white, soft, or otherwise. Tons of colors, easy to use, always work.
