Lights were great and were easy to install. Only real challenge has been with sufficient/consistent wifi coverage in the house. You may find you need to improve/ replace your router.

Ordered this for my son-in-law for Christmas last year. He set them up as soon as he returned home and even went to get more for other rooms. He loves the many settings available.

I use this in every room in the house. It is nice to change lighting depending on the situation. Easy to use app and even work with my google home set up.

I returned these. The bulbs are Dim.., very dim, even on there brightest setting. Will work without the bridge (via Amazon Echo Plus or Show). However the functions are limited to On, Off, Dim and Color Change. You can’t access the bulbs advanced features without connecting the Bridge. You can’t even access the Hue App without the Bridge. To get full features you have to connect the Bridge. These did not meet my needs. There are other bulbs out there that are brighter and way easier to use, without a bridge or Hub. You can shop around but, let me save you some time with one word, “LIFX”...!!!

These lights are great! They are easy to set up and fun to use! Only wish is that they made more versions of these bulbs - ones to fit different types of fixtures!

HUE lights are either controlled through HUE App (Which is mediocre), Alexa (Nice, if you set it up correctly), Apple Home App (Still getting used to), or Google Home (never used). Each has its own way of controlling lights and each has its complexities. I'm still learning, so prepare to spend some time on setting up the best scenarios.

This is a must have for the tech junkies. The color spectrum is great and Apple HomeKit integration is easy. Trust me, once you buy the setup kit you won’t be able to stop!

Overall i really like the lights, they work great with Alexa in turning on lights in certain parts of the home. Pros: Works with Alexa, various modes of lighting, can be controlled with app, works with Nest Security Cons: The music/movie feature only works with computer, brightness i wish could be a little brighter

You save a bunch of money by starting out with this bundled starter home kit with colored Phillips Hue "Lamps" (Bulbs)and not only that, they are of such great quality! The only issue I've been having is latency problems and sometimes connection issues, but that could just be my home network, I've still been working out the kinks!
