Not as nice as Gen3

Light quality is still good, but there's a noticeable crease between the bulb and base where gen 1-3 bulbs do not. These give the same light as gen3. They're still excellent.

Great starter kit for custom lighting

Ok but needs improvement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, the bulbs are an easy plug and play with simple set up. The issue becomes with communication. I am only using 3 of the lights in our master bedroom light kit and the bridge is constantly trying to find the 4th lamp we don't have installed. It is also having problems connecting to the 3rd lamp. Sometimes the 3rd lamp will not turn off, or when you change the color of the others it stays the same. It has been frustrating so far. Probably better off going with IOT switches and dimmers by Leviton.
