"Hey Google, change the Living Room lamp to 'magenta'" "Hey Google, change the Guest Room lamp to 'navy blue'" Settings to turn on/off at sunset/sunrise no 'daylight' sensor required. All our friends and relatives are getting a set after seeing ours: That's all there is to say. My only concern is the limitations on Google Home and the number of devices it can control when I buy two more sets of these lamps (12 total) for other locations in the house. You can control all of them via Galaxy/iPhone regardless. The lamps in 'concentrate' mode are certainly adequate lighting for casual settings: I'd say like a 60 watt bulb.

These lights are amazing! And you can control them through Alexa or an app on your phone. I love the different colors and the ability to control it. Very convenient

These are so fun to use. I actually like to use for photography as I can play with a range of colors and whites. I also like that they are compatible with certain apps.

Our first step to creating a smart home. Would recommend these lights to everyone. They are easy to use and work great. Really enjoy setting the mood for movie nights.

I love the hue lights. I use google home to control them. Its a ton a fun to change the light colors and so convenient not to have to get up to turn lights on and off.

Love ability to change color of lighting with voice or app. Great for setting different moods or themes. Only downside as price as they are pretty expensive.

I haven't used it yet but I have heard not nothing but good things about.it . I willl give an update once I use them

These are extremely bright light bulbs. I used to think my room was just painted too dark, but these bulbs lit the room up. Pair it with a Google Home and it is amazing.

I got these as a gift to use with my Alexa and love it! The initial set up was a little tricky but once you have it figured out they are extremely easy to use

Set up was a breeze. They are a little expensive, but worth it 100%. I want to purchase more bulbs now, because I am extremely happy with these.

Smart lights are really cool technology that you'll tell yourself you need once you stick your toe in the water. It's an expensive, somewhat complex, journey toward whole home integration...but one well worth it if you'd like to sit back and not move to illuminate your home. Seriously...expensive, and expect a learning curve...but the rewards are satisfying....much like the first time you used a remote control for your car stereo and thought, "this is stupid...I'll never use this.." and then within a day, "dear God, why do the plebians Dane to reach the foot forward to use their car audio....silly peasant fools!' Couple of things... 1). You need good wifi coverage for your home, If your space is large and you can't connect to WiFi on your toilet ..don't bother (as you will want to dim the lights for ambiance erstwhile pooping.) 2). You should own some sort of ai assistant device...only the true dolt would install this without the ability Alexa or Google to do your luminous bidding and proclaim, "Google, make it sexy in the defication closet." -If you're the type that refuses to let an all powerful AI listening to your conversation and laments the passing of time where we didn't have listening Devi es in our tooth fillings...just don't bother....just go back to Facebook and click the kitty memes and wonder how it's so good at advertising to you. 3). For whatever AI device you own...make sure you invest in one ecosystem and go all in with one type of light, multiple listening devices, etc. It doesn't do to have to scre down to the kitchen, "Alexa...we want to go to bed turn off the lights!!!!!!" 4). Start slow and once you've bought a starter kit (with a hub that costs $60 by itself) be prepared for the inevitable deluge of need to replace every lightbulb in your home all the while figuring out how to set up new and clever routines to cleverly mask your need to sneakily turn the dining room beet red. 5). There's an upside to all the time investment, extra cost of bringing your broadband setup current...the thousands you'll spend on bulbs....it's that the things are indestructible and last literally forever. That should be factored into the intrinsic cost of your home...ours went from a never 250k to 2.3 million dollars after replacing all of our lights....now all I have to do is figure out how to keep the neighbors from jacking them....I suppose that's what ring cameras are for!

Combined with my existing Hue lights, these create a thoroughly modern home, adding colorful fun to an eco-friendly, smart, efficient system. I only wish there were easier / more obvious ways to create and automate your own rotating color schemes. Also, they're a wee bit pricey.

The app is easy to use on iOS. The installation of the lights and bridge was a breeze. I configured the lights in multiple rooms and created numerous scenes for those rooms. I originally bought this as a gift for someone else and liked it so much I bought one for myself.

The setup went quick and easy. The set is a bit pricey but fun. It entertains the kids and the different light modes help through the day and especially at night.

I love the smart lights, the are bright and the change of colors are a neat feature. I wish they move with sounds.

I have this running with Amazon Alexa and it works very well can change the room to any color for daytime or night

This set is a great dive into creating a smart home and making the house colorful. The color are spot on, easy to use, and work great with Alexa. Highly recommend.

had this for some quite time and works great. the color choices are abundant and so many. my kids especially liked the different color options and the mood it brings to the area. we have it set up in the upstairs as well as the downstairs. luv it. only con is that it is kind of pricey.

Just got started in adding smart home devices to my living quarters and these light bulbs were quick and easy to install and set up. Work well with Google Home and the ability to select a range of colors and other things is wonderful. I do have an issue every once and awhile where Google Assistant will "turn off" the lights but one of my bulbs turns all the way off and immediately comes back on. Not sure if that's an issue with Google Home or Hue. Great otherwise!

I purchased the Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance Starter Kit as a small Christmas present to myself. It was a simple setup and it was exciting to be able to control several lamps in various rooms from my phone. The color settings add a whole new dimension to my room lighting, depending on what mood I want to create. I like the ability to control the brightness and the hues. It can also be set up so that different lamps turn on and off at various times. I like this especially at night, because if I fall asleep lying in bed, they will go off at a predetermined time. I also like the fact that I can set it up in Apple's HomeKit so that I can ask Siri to adjust the lights without going into the proprietary app. It also works well with Alexa on the Amazon Echo. I gave it four stars only because there have been those occasional moments when the lamps are non-responsive. This may be due to wireless connectivity issues with my router. On the whole, though, it responds almost all the time and the convenience of having a smart lighting system is fantastic.
