Expensive

The bulb is not as energy efficient as its competition or isn't as bright. Green output isn't that great either. Another problem is that the included hub has trouble working with other signee devices

Great fun & easy to set up

We use the hue for lamps, but the $50 per bulb price for recessed lights was prohibitively high.
