Dim lights

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The color changing part is cool, and that it can hook up to a smart house, however the lights are dim even when you tell it to be brighter. We used the colors as a warning for bedtime with out children. Unless we tell the light to change, we can't schedule the time to change on its own. Kinda a bummer. Maybe we aren't using it right. Dunno. Cool light, just not quite what I was hoping.

Love the Phillip's Hue lights

Easy to install and link to our Alexas. Plenty of apps you can download to control them. Usually have them set on the lava lamp option. If you can only get one, then get the light strip. We put it behind our TV for indirect lighting.

They also are not "hot" to the touch which I think has helped keep my bedroom and bathroom cooler (much needed with living in Houston in a three story townhome) Can't wait to buy more for the rest of the house!

I read through the reviews and people kept saying that you won’t stop at just the kit. The next day I bought 4 more bulbs. Lol
