I obviously didn’t need these but I wanted to dim the lights when I got home from work to be able to relax a bit, and also when the mood is right if you know what I’m saying. I read through the reviews and people kept saying that you won’t stop at just the kit. The next day I bought 4 more bulbs. Lol

These work great... when they work. They drop off line quite a bit when programmed to turn on at a certain time. They will turn on when you ask Alexa to turn them on... or off.

These are some of the most expensive smarts around but for a reason. Since having them I have tried other brands and always had some kind of issue with those other brands. These Phillip hue I have had no issues at all and easy set up with Alexa devices, smart things,actiontiles etc

Holiday present so can only comment on shipping so far, which was good. Consistent status updates, came well packaged so no concerns about breakage. Can’t wait for kids to open!

Amazing! My girlfriend gets really bad headaches due to white light and being able to adjust the temperature and shade of light was exactly what she needed at night. No more headaches and turns a normal movie night into a more special evening. Can't wait to turn the whole house savannah sunset!

Use this to wake up with new born in middle of night. Can turn on the light from bed. No longer blinded by a bright light at 2:30 am. Bonus: No more fights about who’s turning lights off. Also have a timer for kids bed time routine so they know 30 minutes, 5 minutes, bed time.

The Hue projects work consistently well, but they do require a Hue Hub - this package included one. There are a number of other bulbs that work directly with Alexa or Google Assistant and do not require a hub, and those are also often less expensive. Those hubless bulbs can be easier to use for mobile applications, whereas the Hue bulbs have to stay with their Hub or be associated with a new Hub. I haven't had either type of bulb long enough to be able to comment on how long they last.

My son requested this for his birthday. Very easy to setup and use. Looking to buy more for other rooms in the house

Often you can find this on sale and ends up being the best price per bulb you can find. I’ve bought like 4 this way and end up ‘recycling’ the extra home base thing. It’s silly but it’s cheaper so... love the lights though, work great for automation and with Alexa home devices

I love that it’s super customizable different colors... the scenes are awesome it gives me a different vibe in my home ! Love them

Easy to set up but it could use better set up instructions. Once done it was no more than another electronic toy in the house. In just a few days it became a convenience that was used daily. Alexa works great with the Hue but be sure to enable the Hue skill in the Alexa app first.

Don’t get into smart lights unless you want to live in a type of future you wished for as a kid. Our house is now completely devoid of light switches. We just use our voice and google homes to turn on and off all lights. The best is setting up color themes for different lights.

this is pretty awesome being able to adjust the mood to all kind of options thanks to these lights and how easy they are to use

Easy to setup and get started. It integrates with google home, but GH can't set scenes which was disappointing.

I've had these for about 2 years. Love all the colors. Easy to program and set up with Alexa.

Took me a little longer to set up than normal I'm assuming. Had to input a couple serial numbers from 2 bulbs because the bridge didn't recognize them. Once that was done....very simple. Already added 2 more bulbs and 5 light bars. Very pleased with the results.

the Best Buy store is very close to home, with plenty of parking spaces. Everything is very easy to find and everyone is extremely and helpful and friendly. I usually go with my son who is fascinated by all the computers and electronics. I usually look at the movies and the new gadgets.

I just bought it out of curiosity once I found out it could be paired with Alexa. I was getting my daughter an echo for Christmas and I figured I would be a cool mom if I got her voice controlled colored light bulbs. it worked out great but now she can control the lights in my room too.

There are a variety of colors to choose from on the app, and all can be dimmed or brightened so it works just as hoped

I already had the Hue white and color kit. I wanted more lights so I gave LIFX a try. Unfortunately they kept disconnecting with my Wi-Fi, so I returned to the Hue. I think the bridge is the best reason for their stability. So now I have two kits and more places for my lights.
