Works as expected in expanding HUE system

Enjoy the integration with my other SmartHome equipment. Never thought much about how much ambient lighting can be used to create different moods and add to how you experience your surroundings and environment. The HUE White and Color ambiance A19 LED Bulb definitely adds that something extra to our lives.

Fantastic home addition

Having the ability to control the lights with my phone, through Alexa or Siri has made life so easy. Also, being able to set up routines and timers on the lights has increased our feeling of security and eliminated having to come home to a dark house. We LOVE these lights and plan to buy more for other rooms in our house.

Excellent Product

Go for 3rd gen over 2nd any day. Overall these lights are awesome. Pricey, but awesome.

Could be brighter

There are multiple apps available to set up many different themes. During the Super Bowl we had them set to flash team colors whenever someone scored! Very cool! The only con I have is the brightness. Equivalent to a 60watt incandescent bulb, would like them to be brighter. I have four of them now, can do some cool effects!
