||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I put these 3rd gen bulbs against the originals & these definitely show more colors & may be brighter but I can't be sure about the brightness. If your into Hue lights the 3rd gen are pretty good.

Love these bulbs

I use the softer blue lights late at night and upon waking. Much easier on the eyes than the other choice of either white on or off. I choose my favorite team colors sometimes when watching evening games. I currently have about 10 colored bulbs of different sizes and I plan on getting more.
