Love how these work and very easy to setup. I only give this a 4 because I wish they were brighter. Other than that they’re great!

We put this above the shower and it’s really cool to have different lighting. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is how expensive, $50.

If you are just starting out a Hue system be sure to pick up the gen 3 color bulbs. The blues and greens are actually usable compared to the second gens.

Nice add if you already bought the starter kit. You can never have to many bulbs, but the price is kinda steep for a single bulb.

These bulbs are amazing until they glitch and resort back to this default hideous yellow. You can program their power on color, but they will still glitch occasionally. Not the end of the world, but annoying and unsightly. I’m. Not sure why Philips picked this awful color as their originally programs default ... it’s your grandparents incandescent 2000k something Scientology’s lightbulb color that makes everything look cigarette smoke stained. Don’t get me wrong though ... the colors are spectacular.

This light has been everything as advertised. Looking to add more apps to make use of the light. Not getting a 5 star because of how expensive it is.

Great lights that pair well with Alexa and can go from white to blue to green to red and dim as well. Not the brightest bulbs on the planet and some of the colors are truer than others but overall I am quite satisfied. So satisfied I own about 50. Oh...and the l.e.d are cheap to run.

This is what my grandson wanted for his 15th birthday. He absolutely loves them, has them programmed to turn on and off at specific times and loves having a range of colors for his everchanging moods. I never would have believed that lightbulbs would be a great gift for a teenage boy but they were a huge hit.

It's a little pricey to do all light fixtures in the house at once but will probably do it over time. Colors are great and bulbs works great with the app.

These lights are easy to set up with the hue bridge and with the improved hue app, I enjoy creating wonderful scenes within my home.

This bulb is a little pricey but it works great. The colors are vivid & cover the whole spectrum. Worth it if this is what your looking for.

I personally LOVE this colored hue wifi light bulb! with Alexa device I can dim my favorite color (purple) and my only wish is that I had several more of them. I will be buying 4 to 6 more in the coming months. I eventually want to be able to recreate sunsets from different parts of the world.

Very good Hue bulb - I would only use these if was not so pricey. It has great bright white light, but my primary use is for online video color lighting during my numerous video calls per week. I have used Hues for almost 2 years before getting this in January and I think this is really their best light.

Having fun with all the different colors. Is expensive for one bulb but not lacking for color or just a solid ‘daylight’ bulb

I was trying to decide between the Hue or Lifx bulb, and decided to give this one a shot. I was disappointed in this as it wasn't as bright as I was expecting. I also had to get the hub as well. Functionality wise, I had no problems setting up the bulb and getting it to work. I ended up switching to the Lifx bulb and was much happier as they're noticeably brighter and I only needed the bulb alone for it to work.

I had liked the idea of a tv backlight that responds to the tv picture and I now have a proof of concept working using my iPhone and a app to monitor the tv's colors. now it was kind of distracting at first but It also improved the experience of watching King Arther which is a great movie too..

I bought this to try it out but not sure I’ll keep buying them. The price is way too high for a light bulb and for what it does

The Hue Color lights are Great! They take awhile to set up but they’re worth the effort. The bedroom lights can be configured to wake you up in the morning and the entertainment options for the living room lights make one wonder why we ever went to a movie theater!
