These are fun lights to use in some of the rooms of your house, but make sure you get them when they are on sale. The color spectrum of these lights is awesome but would not be good for bright rooms.

I had to replace one I bought 4-5 years ago. (It would have continued working fine, except it fell and cracked.) This newer generation has faster response time and more color variations. Nothing drastic, but noticeable.

Bought this to add to the lights that came with the starter kit, super easy to setup, and the bridge has great range, reaching this light on the far off side of the house across the main level to the basement.

These bulbs have pros and cons...the color options aren’t exactly like it says.....for example difficult to get a good red color or pink. Connect is also sometimes difficult. 500 Mbs per second and still can’t always connect. Quite expensive as well.

Its a nice but costly bulb, if you needs to replace all of the house's bulb. No issues so far

Purchased the 4 pack. I use these lights for front and back porch lights. I have set for sunrise and sunset automation. When I am away from home I set the other lights to Randomly turn on at night.

I'm glad that Philips has updated their products with more of the spectrum. I have several older color bulbs that still function great, except the newer ones blow them out of the water for color reproduction.

I love the Hue lights. With all of my home automation going on, these lights just blend in seamlessly. Works with my google assistant, Vivint home security and Nest thermostat. Fantastic purchase.

The gen 3 Hue color bulbs offer much better color reproduction compared to previous versions of the product. I was hoping that this version would add greater brightness over the gen 2 bulbs which is my only complaint. If you have gen 2 bulbs already, it's hard to say that it's worth it to swap them out, but if you are new to Hue, the Gen 3 bulbs are your best bet, even if you can find Gen 2 bulbs on sale somewhere.

Awesome color changing lights. A little pricey but fun with the amount you can do with it.

This hue bulb works nicely. The only complaint is that I wish these bulbs were cheaper.

Theses bulbs are great!! When you incorporate them with your smart phone or Alexa takes it to the next level. To be able to create different scene is awesome and you definitely with impress guest.

Buy this light as an ADD ON, you need to buy the starter kit first, I’m not exactly sure why the couldn’t just make it so it directly connects to your phone but you need something called a bridge to make it work

These bulbs are nice to set the mood of an event. The bulbs can turn to many different colors.

These are amazing! You can really get as in depth as you'd like with them with all the 3rd party apps available to make them even cooler. The color choices for white alone make them worth buying.

Overall a great bulb and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I already had the hub so this was an easy addition to my setup. Just remove the old bulb and insert this one. No issues, even after an update.

The only thing I wish this light would do is flash between multiple colors.

My daughter has this in her room. She loves this and loves being able to change colors

I've been tempted with the other so called smart bulbs out there, and they suffer from poor(er) lumen output. Philips seems to be ALL IN on this product, which is more than could be said of others.
