These lights are great

Love using white lights during rain storms.

Satisfied with their performance

Maybe they aren't meant to be behind shades or covers. The problem I have with Hue is the software. The website is severely lacking. All you can do is turn the bulbs off and on. With the phone app, scenes mysteriously disappear then reappear. Also, there seems to be no way to set multiple bulbs to the exact same color.
