I bought some for my room and downloaded every app that was available for the Hue. Once I found the app that syncs with Spotify, I had to buy some for the whole house. It's great for parties! Everyone enjoys them and starts recording on Snapchat. It changes the atmosphere for the best. It's always a party mood!

The Philips - Hue White and Color Ambiance A19 Wi-Fi Smart LED Bulb - Multicolor is a wonderful wifi enabled light. The Philips Wi-Fi light system is best in bread and consistently work with alacrity and efficiency. Hooking them up to the Amazon Echo helps to create a first step in creating a great smart home.

Added this to my front porch so I could change the light color with the seasons. So far it’s great. Catch this when it’s on sale the msrp is too high.

I know there are a lot of smart color bulb but because they last so long I think it's worth the extra investment to have them all integrated into the same system. It makes it a lot simpler with Alexa - I know it's possible to buy other brands with separate apps and have it all enabled but it's not the same.

Philips Hue bulbs are fantastic. They are simple to connect via app to your WiFi and have an impressive range of color. Easily works with Alexa and google home. Would recommend!

But at $50 a piece, they are EXPENSIVE!!! That's Philips' fault, though. Not Best Buy's. I kindof wish I had waited a few years for the price to come down before I started investing in smart lighting. Price notwithstanding, I really enjoy these lights. I have several of the rooms in my house outfitted with them and am really enjoying them so far.

I’m loving these colored smart bulbs. I would recommend the colored ones over the dimmable ones. Sometimes Alexa and Siri have trouble with commands.

Holiday's? Children afraid of the dark and want a nightlight? Smart home and want to mimic the look that you are home when you are not? these are perfect! Not only is it less power to power these bulbs, they offer a very good color range and can be controlled virtually any making it ideal to power then from a smart home enabled app. Home automation is such a neat thing because if you have an internet connection you can control these virtually anywhere in the world. Also makes a great night light mode for our children who sometimes are scared of the dark... For Holidays we set the light color to al sorts of funky combinations and it just livens a house up or makes it look gory depending on the holiday..

Not as bright as some of the competition, but well built, reliable, and so far no issues whatsoever. Great software support. I am a happy camper.

So I have 13 lights total I think and I love the convenience of them but the white ambiance and the color ones just aren't quite there. They're just not burnt enough. The Lifx color light is over a thousand lumens AND you don't need a bridge. That being said the home kit cpatibility is the reason I went with Philips Hue and I won't be looking back. Love them despite their drawbacks.

We are extremely happy with our Philips Hue color lightbulbs. These create ambiance in every room of our house and they are so easy to set up and use in conjunction with our Echo Dot device.

These colored bulbs are great. Its fun to be able to change the colors with the seasons or whatever you want to change them for. They are a bit pricey, but really do like them.

The 800 lumens hue white and color bulbs give is a great accompaniment to our house lights. They have fixed the greens and turquoise colors that were problematic in the 1st gen lights. I wish Phillips would make these a little more affordable though. $50 a bulb means a two bulb light fixture costs more than the fixture itself in most cases to have color.

Bought this for my husband. He loves that its compatible with Alexa, and can change the colors. We now have 10+ of these in our house, so I'll say we highly recommend these lights.

No wiring, assembly or overpriced initial costs. Set up one and continue to add to your collection as you go along. Simple to use and I get the colors and daylight temps that I love!

We are utilizing over a dozen different Hue lights in our house and this one works great for turning on slowly helping us wake up and starting our mornings off right with different scenes and soft light (now that winter is upon us).

This was purchased to add to a Phillips Hue starter kit. It was easy to add this item to HomeKit and the hub. It has great color and readily adjust the color to your liking.

This was the 3rd generation bulb. It was easy to setup and easily recognize by my hue light hub. Compared to the 2nd gen bulb, 3rd gen colors were more vivid, especially the blue and green.

I have the standard white bulbs through the house (14.99 ea), but got these for the living room. They can go from any color of white to practically any color in the spectrum. They really do create different moods. Easy to use through app and totally dimmable also. Only drawback is the 50.00 price per bulb. Just too high to put throughout the whole house, but they do work great.
