I have these bulbs in my living room and in my office and they are wonderful! A little pricey but well worth it if you are planning on turning your home into a smart home.

I got this and it made a big difference on the ambiance of my house, i love it!! i just wish it was cheaper so i could have more of this color lights, Right now i own 20 Hue White and only 5 Hue color due to the price difference.

The vibrancy and selection of colors is amazing. Everything works great with the app, or controlling through Google Home. Just a lot of fun and functionality for a light.

Vibrant colors, voice controlled. The App is user friendly and you can control anywhere. The only negative is the price. It’s pricey to invest that much on a little bulb, but the it’s worth it in my view.

We bought this for my son's room so he could control with this Echo and also change the color of the light. We already had a Hue hub setup and it found this light immediately once we put it in the lamp. Colors are very bright and the range is large. The ability to schedule events has been fun to use. There are also several third party apps that can be installed on your phone to make the light do other tricks like sync to music.

I started with the kit and loved it so much I have slowly migrated many more lights in my house to these. I have setup a few different lighting schemes for watching tv and movies. In addition I replaced my outside lights with these and set them up to turn off at sunrise and turn off at sun set eliminating the need for a sensor plus I can change the colors to match holidays.

I have a mixture of colored lights as well as the white lights from Philips, and I need the option of using colors even in places where I may not use them all the time, like for instance, the overhead ceiling fan in the living room. I mostly use soft white light there, but its worth the extra money for the times I do use color. There are certain rooms where I only need the cheaper white version, like the bathroom and hallway. No need to have my bathroom red, when I'm in there, I need to see, and same with the hallway. In the hallway, I have a Philips sensor that turns the hallway lights on when I walk in the door, for this as well, I only need the white lights. Everything else, give me all the color!

Great lights. A little expensive but they work great. Have not found anything on the market yet that compares to the technology and settings that these bulbs produce.

The Philips Hue situation has changed our home. The options for lighting colors & scenes is fantastic. The seamless connection to Alexa is superb. I love this product!

These lights are awesome, love using smart devices to change colors or dim them with voice.

As far as smart home lighting goes, Philips Hue light bulbs are the tip of the spear! They're obviously expensive and that is their only downfall. I've outfitted my bedroom, living room and rec room with these light bulbs partnered up with an Amazon Echo, I just walk around the house barking out orders to Alexa to turn on and off the lights. I feel like a king in my own home, with electronic servants around every corner.

Wonderful addition for the family room, creates the right environment for every event from watching a movie to game time, or when you wish to just sit back and relax.

I bought my first set of Hue Bulbs while living in a garden apartment with no light switches. Since then my collection has tripled! My current favorite location is in the bathroom. Mood lighting for a shower? Why not!?!? Also an addiction that will cause you to create a smart home and continue buying these bulbs and other stuff you think you don't need, but do. Sorry, not sorry?

I have slowly migrated my home to a smart home. This includes installation of smart bulbs, locks, and bridges/hubs. Since I work in IT this has been a simple process. I have these talking with Google Home and love the ability to have the lights come on at a certain time (No Google needed) and change the colors by just asking. It has made moving around the house with a sleeping little one easier.
