Huge fan of these lights --- if you're buying the single bulb, you need no convincing. The greens in this light far surpass the yellowish tint of Gen 2.

Great light bulbs and a lot of fun to use. Just be careful they don't overheat, because then they wont turn off when you tell them to.

This product comes as advertised. Other than the potential of these being a little bit brighter (higher lumens) in the future these are great!

I purchased these to upgrade my gen 1 hue bulbs to get the better green color and brighter lights. The greens aren't *that* much better and still leave a little bit to be desired. The bulbs are definitely better though. I'm just not sure they are worth an upgrade if you already own Gen 1 or Gen 2 bulbs.

These are great lights and fun to change the colors on. My son loves it! I have them linked to my Google Home for easy control as well.

I have six Philips Hue Smart Multicolor LED bulbs and will likely keep adding more. They work great with the Philips Hue companion app.

Have these throughout my house. So easy to use and when you go to lay down you don’t have to worry about flipping the switch

These hue lights are a great add on to my home theater, next is to get an app that allows them to change with the tempo of the movie or music.

i own many hue lights but the 3rd gen are a HUGE step ahead of previous models. the color is much deeper and brighter. greens are especially improved

The Hue system is the best out there as far as smart lighting is concerned. Although the third gen RGBW bulb is better than the previous two, the bulbs are lacking in various areas of the color spectrum (greens, blues) when compared to other Hue RGB lights or other brand bulbs (LifX has fantastic colors).

We have Philips Hue lights in several rooms in the house, and I appreciate the color/dimming, the app and the options. Highly recommended!

We love this system and how you can change colors, use it through the Google home and the phone app. Now up to 4 bulbs and will continue to expand.
