Better colors than gen 2, but uneven diffusion

But the diffusing coating on the glass part of the bulb is uneven which gives a cheap an unpleasant look to the bulbs. If you're using the bulb in a covered lamp, then no worries.

A big fan of the Philips Hue Lighting system

Love how they can be controlled with Alexa, the connectivity, and also the different light settings that can be applied to it. There are mood settings that allow you to relax, wake up, and energize, the one I like the most is using the lights as a disco ball when I invite people over. If you download a third party app, you can make your lights go with the beat of the songs.

I just like the ease of use and the ability to control them with other devices. I actually saved a good bit of money off of my power bill when I switched over.
