What can I say? It's a lightbulb. I guess I can say it's nice that I can connect it with my echo plus and be able to control the lighting in my house with voice comands...

Replaced outlet plugs from another company. Most other bulbs in house are hue, but was trying an alternative. Did not work as well. Love the dimming functionality.

Need a hub in order to connect to the power.......

This Philips bulb is good and does what one demands of a bulb like this (not full color spectrum). But, I am not really a fan of the Philips' "system" of requiring a hub. I returned it and got EFX bulbs that can be controlled directly through my Google Home.

While a very good light bulb and much more cost effective than the $30 or $50 color version, it's still an expensive light bulb but with far less features. If I'm making this investment into Wifi lights, I'd rather spend the extra money for additional control.

Google Home plays soft, soothing music for us all night long and we can turn on, or off, this light with our voice. No more fumbling around in the dark to find a light switch. We love it!!

They work great with our Alexa! Would buy again!!!

All I had to do was replace my lamp bulbs, and had Alexa find the Smart Home items in the app. Now I just ask Alexa to turn them on/off, and dim/brighten as needed. Love these.

I love these light bulbs. Changing the whole house over would require a second mortgage, but it will be worth it. Before long, I won't ever have to touch anything in my house but my phone.

The Phillips smart light bulb has worked very well for my family. It’s very convenient. We use our cell phones and cellular devices to control the lights in the house.

The hue family of apps allows this to work like a timer - I have it come on 30 min before sunset, and off at 11:00. We can also override that by talking to our amazon echo. Smart home on a budget.

I don't have hue lightbulbs because of needing an extra hub. With the new echo show, it has a hub built right into it. Now, I could buy any zigbee lightbulb including hue.

This lighting system allows for a full range of colors and ways to create scenarios to give various light shows. I have tried out in my outdoor lights and have been very pleased with performance.

Once I figured out the app to control these lights.....I haven't touched a light or lamp switch in months. I think that is pretty neat and I never enter a dark room or house. Cool beans!

There is not much to review on a light bulb but it turn on and off right. Is controlled adequately with my Echo and the color Change is ideal for extra control in your lighting.

I got this free with the purchase of a show. It didn't work on my bedroom fan light, I think because there is already a wireless remote. The light would turn on randomly couldn't figure it out. I put it on an outside light and use it with a dusk to dawn timer works perfect so far.

These Philip hue bulbs are great for people who want to get into smart home lighting. These are basic bulbs but at a great value. I have them installed in all my homes bedrooms.

Great for existing Hue ecosystem users. You can easily add dimming capabilities to a room or give a lamp remote on/off for much cheaper then some remote outlet systems that cost $40 a pop.

Good basic smartbulb. There are pros and cons to the Philips Hue bulb platform. If you understand these and it isn't an issue for you then these are definitely some of the best you can buy. The tunable output bulbs are a better bulb imo, but if all you need is a basic smartbulb, this is the one to get.

Although the Best Buy Salesmen said I needed the bridge this bulb paired easily with the dimmer switch. We now have three table lamps that are controlled with the dimmer switch.
