Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Hue White A19 Smart LED Bulb's ease of use, brightness, and compatibility with smart home systems like Alexa and Apple HomeKit. Many appreciate its affordability and the level of control it offers over lighting. While some users experienced connectivity issues or slight delays in response time, the positive feedback on ease of use and brightness outweighs these concerns. The quick and easy setup is also frequently praised.

Since there are many more players in the smart bulb game Philips white only bulb is outdated.

I prefer the blue daylight type bulbs but they do not carry this in store. Light is too yellow.

The bulb works, but is not very bright. Package says 60 watts but it’s closer to 40 watts.

Turning the lights on and off using voice commands is fun at first but can be extremely spotty at times.

Works well. I really like it. I just hate how you have to individually pair all of them.

Thought it would work by its own, but needs a bridge. Decent one, but no color change - only white.

Cool idea, but the bulbs kept disconnecting from the base even though they were in the same room as the wireless router. I tried reconnecting them multiple times, but invariably one or two of the bulbs would unpair. I finally gave up and returned the whole shebang.

Easy to install and use. However, the price is a bit high and a higher wattage would be nice.

    Too Expensive

Philips hue is probably a good smart bulb ecosystem. The only issue is that it's expensive and requires a hub to control the lights. I ultimately returned it and exchanged it for C life by GE. Which is more of streamlined experience with setup through the Google home app and is more cost friendly.
