This purchase may be better as a 'screw and go' bulb. Having to buy the hub makes this product so much of a hassle. UGH! This bulb better knock my socks off.

Overly expensive

This is not the case, the Philips Hub is required regardless, which I think makes the set-up too expensive

Quite honestly I have no idea how to use it. the only smart devise in our home. First we lived in an apartment. Now a home. May find a use for it some day.

Alexa does not work well with these bulbs

Have to repeat commands and Alexa sometimes does not recognize the bulb location. Invested hundreds of dollars into a Smart (call it really dumb) system. Buyer beware

Not ready for prime time.

A bulb went bad within a week (would not turn on). Bought a replacement. Later I tried to add a third bulb and nothing. Tried a few different things and eventually deleted the two bulbs that were already connected to my Smartthings hub. Mistake! Now I can't add any of the bulbs. Did some more research and it seems there is no way to "factory" reset these bulbs. Now I'm stuck with 3x $15 "dumb" bulbs.
