I'm just a beginner with "smart lighting" and purchased the starter kit and an extra bulb. I wish the cost was a little less, especially on the color bulbs, so I decided to stick with the white bulbs for now. Set up was quick and easy. When it works, it's fun and helpful. When it doesn't, it's annoying. I use it with the Amazon echo and dot. Sometimes it doesn't recognize it and takes several tries to "find" the right one. Sometimes it says it cannot connect, but then it does carry out the command (to turn on or off). On my android phone, it's already required 2 updates in the last 2 months or the app does not work. I'm still learning, so I trust things will get better. Still, when it does work, it's a definite 4 out of 5 stars and I don't regret my purchase.

The Hue system works great with Alexa. A19 White is great for daily use. I rarely use color bulbs. They are novelty.

There is not much to this bulb. It is found easily by the Hue application and is just like any other Hue smart bulb.

good bulb, little pricey, app and bridge can be a little buggy.
