Setting things up was easy, all lightbulbs were recognized. Creating scenes was a lot more difficult than I thought it should be, I just want some simple "turn a light on" and "turn it off", but had to fiddle through the app on my phone to try and figure it out.

I love these lights, they're simply awesome! I use geo-location to turn on a relaxing light when I arrive home and never have to worry about turning them off when I leave. I also use the energizing light to wake up on these dark winter mornings. I only wish the default Philips app had more features like pulsing/strobe lights, music feedback, better ability to enter a color manually (I can never reach the deepest saturation of a specific color because the selector can never follow my finger to the very bottom of the screen). However, there are apps by other developers that solve these issues, just wish Philips would integrate all the best features into one app.

I love this Product. It was very easy to set it up. The final result was good. It works great. It is a great buy if you are ready to shell out 200 bucks. I do not see any downside for this other than the price.

Easy to set up. They are fun to play with for awhile. But it's all about how they really work. I have 3 dogs. When we leave turns all but one light off for the dogs. 1 month later they still work good. Brightness would be better if brighter but not bad. They never fail yet. There always turn on when I get home.

i recently purchased my hue starter kit. the installation was such a breeze and the set up was so simple. lighting dictates everything and i couldn't be happier with the quality of this product and how easy it is to use.

If you plan on using this with Apple HomeKit you have to buy a newer hub. I didn't know that when I purchased it so I had to buy a second hub a few days later. Configuration is easy and the lights can dependent a lot of colors although some of the blue shades are, in my eyes, lacking. I enjoy it overall.

I love this product. The lights are easy to install and work great. I love the fact that all you have to do is turn off/on the switch to turn your lights back to normal.

I love these lights. The convenience of having the lights come on when I get home, go off when I leave, let me know what the weather is going to be like and many other options available is outstanding. Eventually I will switch all my lights over to the Philips Hue lights.

Very expensive but worth the cost in terms of electrical savings and "shock and awe" at parties. It is extremely convenient and easy to use. You can even set a locator to turn on/off the lights when you arrive/leave your home. It also has a timer so you can have the lights turn on/off when you wake up/go to bed. The colors and schemes are endless and free apps make the lights go with the beat of the music. These lights set a high standard for college cocktail parties.

I like the versatility of the lights being able to change colors as well as control them turning off and on as I leave or arrive.

The Philips hue starter kit is great. The app is very easy to use and set up takes no time at all. The geofencing feature is great as well.

I love these lights! Very easy to set up and install. I'm considering getting the easy switch for the set up. Just because it is a bit annoying to get out my phone or iPad every time I want to turn on or off the lights. Would love it if the switch could just restore to your last light setting instead of going back to basic full bright white.

The Phillips Hue works just as described, and the color range is phenomenal! It works great with our Wink hub, too! I love these little lightbulb-shaped computers!

Gift for my stepson, he really enjoys tinkering with the color schemes and developing accent lighting. Recommended for anyone who enjoys lighting a room beyond the normal white/yellow/daytime lighting.

the price for three bulbs is a great value and the setup is very simple,there are plenty of apps to do multiple option like voice activate and party lights. they need to work on the a lower light dimming and the geofencing.

I use it mainly to set a mood or just turn my light off when I'm in bed warm, and it's to cold to walk to my lamp and turn it off. It is slow sometimes tho, but hopefully they will fix that.

I was originally interested in Philips' HF3520 Wake-Up Light With Colored Sunrise Simulation for helping me wake up without the sudden shock of a typical alarm clock. After all, how we wake up generally sets the mood for the rest of the day--and who wants to go about the day in a state of urgency? However, after reading reviews about the product, I decided the price didn't match the value. Hue bulbs can be programmed however you like--in my case simulating the sunrise to wake me in the morning.

I do not know what I would do without these lights. I can feel better about leaving the house for a weekend trip with the scheduling on the lights coming on and off. Well worth the money!

Love the Hue bulbs! I tried some others but none could hold a candle to the Hues. Novelty purchase as they are still quite expensive $$$ but if you got some money to blow then have at em!

I got these to integrate with my Amazon Echo. I can control lights all over the house with my voice, on off and brightness. Fantastic product and I look forward to buying more of them.
