Pretty cool lights. Greens, light blues, yellow are not the best but the other colors are great. Like being able to control from my phone, and when I'm away, but also inconvenient when you don't have your phone/tablet/assistant, and you need to go find one to turn it one. You can solve this by spending more on accessories, but haven't really bought into the whole accessories yet. I do have the motion sensor downstairs and so far I like that and makes it more convenient! Overall nice lights that have been pretty reliable the first three weeks I've had them. I plan on buying more hue lights.

Set the perfect lighting for any room with just your phone. Also there are additional apps you can download for different lighting effects. Great Product!!

Great product. It is a great way to impress guests. I am not sure it is worth the extra cost. But if you travel often and need to turn on lights remotely, it might be worth it. Nice toy though, my kids like playing with the lights using Alexa and their ipads.

These lights are great!! I find them to be bright enough for me. I live in apartment and I have them in end table lamps in the living room and nightstand lamps in bedroom. They illuminate each room more than enough. The color change is great as well. I love how they work with Siri. I have swapped out all lights to Hue and my energy usage has DROPPED!!!! Latest bill was $60. Normally $100-$125

My wife and I have been eyeing up the Philips Hue Lights for a while now and we finally decided to pick up this starter kit and let me tell you... it totally changed how our living room feels! We spend a lot of time in there and this was exactly what we needed to make it more lively. It was super easy to set up, literally within a few moments and then you can color your room with light!

This product works as described. Easy set up, easily controlled from home and away.

Easy to setup, version 3 has siri integration so lighting automation is super easy to implement either with Amazon Echo/Alexa and/or Siri! Comes with 3 bulbs to start with but believe me, once you install and start using them, you’ll be hooked and will want automate more lights! Only draw back is that bulbs are super expensive otherwise I would have bought 30+ bulbs to outfit my entire house!

This set is a fantastic intro to the HUE product line. It contains three bulbs, and compared to series 2, these contain much better greens and blues than the gen 2 bulbs. The bulbs themselves would set you back $50 a piece, so this is a good starter set for you. It easily integrates with iOS and has a great set up for routines to wake you up with a natural sunrise. I'm a big fan of them so far.

I was on the fence about getting automated lights. But once we got an Amazon Alexa, I figured it was time to give Philips a shot. I'm so glad we did! The voice command and lighting work seamlessly and it's especially convenient when we come home late at night carrying groceries or luggage. Super nice to tell alexa to turn off and turn on the lights for us while our hands are full!

Not only are these lights super functional, they also provide a lot of fun. There other apps available that let you get the most out of these lights.

I was looking into home automation for a awhile and I decided to take the plunge with this kit. Install is pretty straight forward. iOS compatible but to use "Home" function on an Apple device Apple TV is required. You are not required to use "home" function on the iOS device you can use the Phillips app. Overall I will recommend this everyone even a novice can install this kit.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Quality bulbs that give a wide range of colors.

Had trouble syncing the bridge, but after leaving it overnight it worked the next day just fine without having to do a thing. I love this product so much, I am going to swap out all the rest of the bulbs in my house to replace them with these. I love the colors, the dimmers work great, I wish the brightness was a bit brighter, but otherwise great hues. There are also compatible apps that work with the bulbs that mimic candles flickering (not a hue app). Overall great product! Perfect for ambiance, fun, movie watching, cocktail parties, or just to enjoy for everyday mood lighting.

I have 8 total lights set up in 3 rooms using Google Home (and 2 Google Home Minis) and I am really happy with this product. It takes a little time to set up and coordinate things. There is a small learning curve, but after that, we use Google Home to turn on, off, down, or change the color of our lights. This is really fun (expensive, but fun!) I also find it useful.

Love the ability to select different mood scenes. Hue app leaves some to be desired. Could be cheaper compared to comitition. Overall good product.

Never thought I would be addicted to lights bulbs, but I can't stop buying these light bulbs to put all over my house. Downloaded some fun apps to sync the lights with my music and TV. Can't wait till Halloween and Christmas to do some themed lighting. Parties will be fun too! Color are vibrant and syncing up with Google home and other apps is easy with the push of a button.

I researched LiFX and the Ikea brands for smart lighting prior to purchase, and the Philips won out because of the third party apps and smoother integration with smart home technologies. You do pay a premium for these bulbs, but they are worth it.

These lights are really great. They have a few default settings which i prefer, although we could customize it as per our need. Although, the reason i hit a 4 star and not a 5 is because it isnt too bright. the max brightness is a lil dull for me

So glad I went with the multi color option. I can set a mood or wake up slowly. There are colors emulating sunlight and a calming island theme via the app. The lights come on when I arrive and turn off when I leave. I bought it for a porch light because I was tired of unlocking the door in the dark. Now most of my apartment have Hue bulbs. Do it now! You'll be glad you did.
