Easy to customize your scene to match your mood. I like that I can set as timer using the app. Really expensive to add additional bulbs.

The colors are very vibrant and the bulbs are easy to use.

There is so much you can do when using Google and IFTTT app. You can turn your light into a dance party, notifications, movie night, or a game night. You can dim the light, set a timer while you are away. And if you go to bed and want to make sure the light are off. You can set a timer, or simply ask Google to turn off all the lights.

Easy setup. The ability to adjust color and tone is very nice.

Our whole family love this thing. I love being able to tell Alexa to turn lights on and off and to change colors. This is definitely a talking piece. Everyone was just in awe. I was even surprised my wife who is against me buying stuff like this had no qualms about the purchase. I have slowly started expanding and I love it even more.

Great to come home with lights on in the hous. Love you can program different colors at different times. Rally sets the mood.

I never thought I would spend this much on lights bulbs, however these are not your average bulbs. I use home kit to tell Seri ..change to blue, green, yellow, purple, dim 50%, Living R off , Living L pink...it is fantastic. Another great feature is you can use 3rd party apps to control many different things like movies , music, and party mode.

We purchased the set and installed the lights in our living room and family room. We immediately went out and purchased additional lights for other rooms. The Hue app is a huge benefit as well, make sure to download it and work through the set up. We love changing colors in each room and we also use the Amazon Echo Dot to control the lights.

I'm addicted to these hue lights and these starter kits are the best way to purchase them, especially when they're on sale! While I don't need multiple hubs I simply sell the extra hubs and it makes the bulbs even cheaper. These bulbs give off such rich colors and when combined with some of the cool hue apps they are amazing!

This light set is a great introduction to variable color and easy to control lights. When paired with Alexa it is great to use. There really are not very many limitations and the standard set up for even novice users is short. It probably takes less than 30minutes to install and set up both Alexa and Hue set in a standard internet ready home.

I love using these for front porch and have them set to schedule so in the winter time I come home to having the lights on.

I purchased the Google Home earlier this year and have been tinkering with what it can do. The ability to not only control the Philips Hue light bulbs through their easy to setup and user friendly app, but also the Google Home is what really drew me to purchase this kit. I can setup the lights to even turn on when I get close to home through the app based on my GPS location (they have a setting to do this only after dusk). If you don't own a Google home don't fret it's still great through the app alone. I can split the lights into separate rooms and allow for me to turn on just the living room lights with just a flick of a switch on the app I can change the lamp color, brightness, and if it’s on or off. With the Google Home gives the ability to voice control most everything you can do through the app. I can change colors with ease through verbal commands and separate the lights into rooms like the app but more or less hands free control. The app provides finer tuning to the exact color you want. All in all the Philips hue line is a great purchase and with the ability to setup lighting routines for when you're away on travel. I can't imagine anyone ever returning this product.

When I got the package home it was easy to set up ! You just follow the directions and it was easy for the hue app to detect the bulbs! You do have to sync the hue bridge to the hue app so you can control the lights from your phone ! You can use the app or it also works with Amazon Alexa to change color of lights or turn on and off ! I had no problems setting it up ! The bulbs do get hot really quickly so handle them with care ! The hue starter kit is great way to start customizing your smart home !

One of my first ventures into home automation. Love the scenes and how easy it is to program for different looks. I have multiple rooms setup and it works well. The only issue I had was that the bulbs did stop responding to my Apple HomeKit; but still worked through the Hue app and controls. Turned out to be an issue on my network.
