The starter pack was exactly what I needed. From the setup, to the hue app or home kit app (I'd recommend the official hue app because you can do more with it), it was very straightforward. Now my lights turn off and on automatically on the days that I want that feature. Love these lights! Can't believe I didn't get them sooner.

This is great for getting your smart home set up. I installed 11 lights (3 Hue bulbs, 2 strips and 6 white smart lights). All are compatible with the bridge that is supplied. Incorporate these with Google Home or Alexa and you can make day-to-day more simple by controlling lighting with your voice. I can't wait to install more!

Bought these to automate the lights in my house and have multiple colors, also got them at a discounted price so that was another plus. These lights are in a gradable with Alexa and they work great also there is an app to get them to synchronize with music. If there is air is in this review it is due to my text to speech app

These light bulbs are great. The whites are very bright compared to my normal light bulbs and the colors are awesome.

Bought along side google home. Works great together and with other devices. A ton of apps to customize capabilities.

I purchased this kit to add accent lighting and get a jump on setting up a connected home. For the price it would be very expensive to replace all bulbs in the house, but it works great for strategic lighting and ambiance. I would recommend putting one behind your entertainment center to enhance your movies and games.

Philips Hue just works, and it works well. I have my apartment set up with 8 bulbs (including the three that came in this package) and a Google Home. The Hue bulbs out perform my other smart lights in terms of reliability and features. They were easy to install and the integration was very easy to set up.

We have a Google Home and this technology is amazing. The color spectrum is amazing and the colors are brilliant and well defined, not washed out. Having all the color is neat but obviously not necessary. The regular white bulbs are just as fabulous so if you don't need the color option just go with the regular white bulbs.

This has been easy to setup and get going. I was able to attach a previously purchased Hue light and dimmer switch. Room setup and scene integration was easy. This also has been easy to integrate/attach to my Harmony remote and hub---now the lights switch when I start my Xbox or Blu-Ray player. So simple and so cool.

Phillips Hue lightbulbs are an innovation in home automation that I have been using since the day the first generation came out. The second generation is even more innovative. With homekit, siri, and geolocation integration the ease of use is completely fluid. and adding others to control the lights is just as convenient.

I'be been using my Hue lights for about a year now and just ordered some additional bulbs. The brightness and color range are impressive and the hub is more reliable than most of the network devices i own. I love telling my Echo to turn lights on when I walk in the house, or dim them while I'm watching TV.

I love these lights especially using Amazon's Echo Dot.... Installation took about half hour, including the Alexa and watching youtube videos.... You basically just screw the lights in first, install the software on your phone, then pair them with the Hue bridge.... Set up is pretty simple also with the Dot, just ask Alexa to find devices after allowing the skill in the Amazon app. Only one problem I can't get alexa to change the color of the lights unless I install a third party app.

I love the lights. They work so well and are super cool to change the room colors. My only problem is, the switch has to remain on the whole time. If you set a color and turn the switches off then you have to reprogram the colors. It would not be so bad if te default color was white. It is actually warm. So if you are looking for a bright white then you best get ready for a long week. Youll be reprogramming the color several times a day until you are use to leaving the switch on.

Based on simplicity of setup, smart home compatibility, and available options, the Hue System is the best. Yes, you need a hub, but once it’s setup, it’s way easier to use and more reliable than systems without a hub. Definitely what I would recommend to someone who is new to smart home lighting equipment.

I got my husband the HUE lights because he couldn't stop talking about them for yearssss, I got him 2 extra light because I knew 3 wasn't enough for him and he bought 3 more so in total 8 lights, he plays with them everyday, is like a kid with a new toy, so ladies this is the perfect gift for your love one.

We bought the initial set up pack. Have the lights in 3 different rooms, we love how you can program them to go on and off at different times of the day and buy using the APP on your phone, computer, or laptop. Also can turn on and off with Alex. Going to buy more bulb and rope lights for the kitchen and patio.

After doing a lot of research I decided to go with the Hue system. The app keeps improving and the bulbs are very bright when you need them to be. It has its fun factor but I can see how smart bulbs become practical over time as you use them. I haven't integrated anything else yet with the system but plan to.
