I absolutely enjoy these lights although I do sometimes see myself sometimes not use half of the lights, and it's also a little pricey but I enjoy them every time I do a photo shoot or a video with my camera I can change the light and it makes it look it's higher quality, especially with YouTube videos

Buy this with caution.... You will get addicted to Phillips Hue. There is no turning back. Once go down this path you'll want to convert all your lighting to Hue which can get quite costly in a hurry. But the benefits of it far outweigh the costs (at least for me) - themed apps that let you control your lights to music or different moods makes it so much fun. Also the ability to control (dim/brighten, change colors, etc) via your phone or even with Google home via a voice command is just awesome. Peripherals like the dimmer switch and motion sensor make the lighting more "normal" to use for non technical folks in your house. They can still turn on and off lights via the dimmer switch. Motion sensors can turn them on or off based on motion and also via a schedule. Great product and very easy to install....

I love the fact that I can just tell Alexa to turn off a specific light or lower the brightness to exactly where I want it. If you get into the IFTTT apps it turns into a disco show and has a great thunderstorm program too. Super easy to set up. A child could do it. Gonna get more bulbs and expand soon.

This product works great with Google Home. It was very easy to Install...plug light bulb in, plug switch into router, download app, press button on switch...voila, it works Only reason for 4 stars, is the bulbs initially and constantly have to be retuned to the correct color white constantly. It comes with the yellow-ish white straight out of the box and if the bulbs lose power (turn off light switch, power loss, etc), it reverts back to yellow tinted white light

Absolutely love it. Explored other lighting options more specifically to be able to dim lighting around my home and decided to go with unfortunately the more pricier option. Having said that, i am happy with my purchase and have already ordered more bulbs to transition over the rest of my home.

I liked how easy it is to configure these lights and to choose from a variety of scenes and color combinations.

These lights give any boring room a fun atmosphere. All my friends love all the possible combinations

These hue lights are awesome. So nice to have dimming control without having to change light switches.

This starter kit is my first "smart home" purchase, and I love the ability to control the lighting in my tv room via my phone. I was even able to program to switch on and off while I was on vacation. The Philips Hue lights are a great product, and I look forward to adding more in the future.

My wife never remembers to turn off the lights. I can turn them off from anywhere. Money well spent.

Such a simple and fun way to connect your home together. I'll be happy buying more as the years go by. I'm hoping down the line they decide to add support to sync the lights with music. Make sure to check out the ThorLight app after your purchase, it makes the experience so much more unique.

I'd been lusting after some of these lights and finally got them recently. I have to say, my expectations have been exceeded. They are absolutely beautiful and so fun to play with. They can really change the character of a space. I just wish they weren't so expensive or I'd put them everywhere!

The bulbs are pretty cool and work really well with a google home. The app works really well too

After watching the second season of Master of None on Netflix I finally pulled the trigger on the HUE. The final episode where he is in his apt. with the Italian girl, the HUE was being used to light the set and it was just a beautiful scene. Can't stop telling Siri to change my lights.

Highly recommended tv for entry level 4k. Upscales very well and I get compliments all the time.

I'm very happy with the White and Color 3 gen starter kit. Very easy to set up and getting started is a breaze. Pretty much screw in your bulb, let the bridge find it and you're all set. I have recommended this to many friends and family, people love it. Great way to liven up a room or party.

its nice to just turn on computer room lights, by saying turn on computer room lights or turn on bedroom lights, can't change color of lights with Alexa, so what ever setting it is on thats whats is stays on, you have to change lighting on the phone. overall very nice, but pretty pricey.
