Best choice I’ve ever made. Walking, my lights are on, leave they turn off. Best purchase ever

Thought I was getting green previously with other generations but this one is really green! Love the deeper and more vibrant colors. If you have no reason to get another set, just add on a few of the 3rd gen bulbs around to places where you'd really want some nice green or blue highlights.

I enjoy my Hue white and color Ambiance A - 19 Starter Kt. I was able to connect them to my Google Home and now I can turn my lights off with just a command. I can even change the color of the lights which is very cool and very fun when teaching my 2 1/2 year old grandson his colors.

Life has changed since i got this thing. I can setup my wake up lights,, when i'm sleeping i can just ask siri or google to turn off my lights leave whats on and have schedules and change the colors to ease my eyes. its a life changing experience. its a bit pricey is all im saying...

Great LED lightbulbs. I love that I can change the color of the light bulbs through my phone, tablet and especially through Alexa! I love that I can turn the lights on through Amazon echo. The color of the lightbulbs may not be a necessity but why not, right? I like the ambience!

The bulbs work as advertised and are very bright/ rich in color. Syncs well with Google Home and Echo.

It is hard to express how much I love items for home AutoNation that work right out of the box. There was nothing complicated (but do put them in one at a time to relabel them). They work with Siri which is great and thanks to an automation program even help wake me up in the morning.

I love how the temperature change for the light and also save me time to turn on the light and turn off the light. I appreciate the timer on switching on and off the lgiht.

Phillip's hue bulbs are great but they can be a but pricey. Great app and easy to setup

I have 1 Amazon Echo and 3 Amazon Dots in my house. The Hue lights are the best smart lights I've purchased by far. I have 23 GE Wink lights and these respond faster, look brighter and the color spectrum offered can't be matched. I think it's pricey, but well worth the investment.

I will surely recommend Google Home and Philips hue best technology for your modern home..

I thought these were going to just be something I would play with for fun and end up not using long term. I now have them in my living and dining room, bedroom and in my kitchen! Easy overall setup, a little troublesome getting them to work with my amazon echo and dot though.

I love these lights. I have to amazon echo connected to the lights and it's awesome. You can have it hooked up to you phone so the lights turn on before you get home. You can change the color of the lights and change the mood in that room it cost a lot but totally worth it

At first I was a bit skeptical about paying so much for lights. But it wasn't until I bought them that I realized how often I use them. they accent my home for every occasion and are stunning to look at. All my guests enjoy them and a few have even gotten some of their own.

Got these lights to start setting up a 'smart home'. The Hub was easy to set up, and the bulbs were pretty easy to configure in the tool. (Hint: When installing multiple bulbs, put one in at a time so you can name it and add it to a group. If you do multiples, it is hard to know which bulb is in which fixture.) Later I purchased the little Dot to use near the lights, while I use my phone or Google Home out in the living room.

I purchased the Philips Hue to work with my Google Home. So far, I'm pleased with how they work together to use voice commands and other events to control the lighting and colors. I also use a variety of IFTTT applets to control my Hue lights in a number of home automation scripts. Using IFTTT seems to be more reliable than using the Hue Andriod app to perform lighting functions. Overall I'd recommend the product to others.

I bought this set to try with my Microsoft HoloLens. A little application called Hue Lights came out and the app does a great job of allowing one to easily set the mood. I plan on filling all of my light sockets in the house, buy one a week till I can color my entire house.

For many years I used the X10 system that sends on/off/dim commands over the power lines but it had become less reliable and parts were hard to come by. Since surge suppressors are often needed and X10 commands do not work well with surge suppressors, I have been looking for some time for an alternative. The latest generation of Philips Hue Bridge and lights are simply awesome. With three Hue lights and a "remote" (Android device) that talks to the bridge, we are able to create different lighting situations for movie watching, happy hour with friends, reading, or fun things like a tropical light scheme when it is cold and snowy outside. There is so much more that can be done with Hue but for starters these are the light schemes that we most commonly use. This Hue Starter kit is not cheap but given how reliably it functions and how pleasant the light scenarios are in practice, it is worth the money. It is simply the best on the market. What is also attractive is that as an IoT hobbyist, well-documented REST commands can be sent from any device (Raspberry Pi, Intel Edison) to the bridge for further customization, such as light effects triggered by sensors attached to the IoT device. In fact, there is a community of makers exchanging ideas for the Hue. If you don't like to play with breadboards, sensors and microcontrollers, there are many commercial solutions available that work with Hue. I recommend a wired Hue bridge setup and applying the Hue software updates right away. The Android Hue app seems to be regularly updated to fix bugs and add features.

This is a great way to get more colored lights rather than buying them individually.
