And I am not sure I will ever stop...with the addition of up to 50 bulbs and color changing and dancing to movies and music, who would ever want to set these and leave them ever?!? The fun is in the change!!

Does what it says it will do. You can have fun with it by turning the lights on in another room to freak someone out. It's great if you forgot to leave a light on if you're out for a while or travelling.

I would highly recommend this starter kit. I installed it today and it was fairly straightforward. I am using Homekit and Apple TV (4th gen) as my hub. It took me a little extra time to set up because I had to set up two-factor authentication (which I believe is a must) and the only way I could get the hub to work was to remove Apple TV from the "devices that were associated with my Apple ID" and remove Homekit and then sign back in etc (in Settings on the Apple TV. Once I figure all of this out, the lights work great and I have already set up a "scene" etc so that when I come home (Apple knows by location services) and it is past sunset, the lights go on. Pretty cool stuff! Can't wait to set up additional "scenes" etc.

Me and the kids love telling the google home what color or brightness for the lights to be on. Awesome for when you walk in and your hands are full too. Love the colors and how easy it was to set up.

The colors are very vivid the app isn't great yet.

I bought these as a novelty item. Ended up falling in love with them. Really enjoy the simplicity of the setup and usage. Can't wait to purchase more for the house. BUY THESE trust me you won't regret it.

Easy to set up, still a bit pricey but definitely fun

These have to be one of the best smarthome upgrades I've made so far. I wasn't sure if I'd use them as much since it just seemed like a niche item. After using the Hue's for a while now, all I can say is "How have I not purchased these before". I have a set in the living room, bedrooms and kitchen I have a couple scenes programmed depending on what we are doing. Watching casual TV, I have one setting and for movies I have another. Then when I am on the laptop or reading I have another setting. The best is when I have someone come over and tell Alexa to turn on the light and they seem to be amazed by how "futuristic" it is. I plan on having the whole house converted to Hue's as soon as I can.

Great lights to work with Android or iOS! Automate your house in a matter of seconds! Don't need a PhD in physics to operate these! YouTube it! A bit pricey but well worth your hard earned cash!!!

these lights do everything you could imagine and more with the use of 3rd party apps. Also works well with the Apple HomeKit. I am so impressed with the quality and vast color options the lights produce.

The starter kit is what you need to start this adventure because it includes the bridge, and I think we will purchase many other components in the future. The three all-color bulbs are also very fun.

I was interested in the concept. Control of your lights via your phone seemed like a good idea. It turned out to be a great idea !! Not just lights but moods can be controlled. What a great product

I installed these in my living room and kitchen. They work great with the Google Home and Amazon Alexa device.

If you have lots of bulbs or are planning to add more in the future, this is a great place to begin. You get a bridge that makes connecting more smart lights easier. And it's easy to set up.

Very easy to set up an use. Easily controlled by an app so that you can have the lights set and turned on regardless of where you are. Several settings for perfect ambiance depending on your mood.

Received the light strip in a combo pack with these hue lights and it works great in the home. You won't need IT knowledge plus your family will love the different color lights in the home

I put them in the accent lighting in my game room. Works well with Alexa or Siri. Awesome to not have to go to 3 different switches to turn on all the lights. Highly recommend these bulbs!

Set up was a bit more confusing than expected, but once I had everything going it has worked really well. Am especially happy with the options for color and timing. Right now I can control lights with my phone, still working to get it all set up on my husband's phone...can't get his app to recognize the bridge.

Great LED lightbulbs. I love that I can change the color of the light bulbs through my phone, tablet and especially through Alexa! I love that I can turn the lights on through Amazon echo.
