Hue lights

I didn't think I would like color but it is really nice in the evening to have dimmer lights to relax. Like the convenience of them but if you loose Internet you don't have lights.

Also, it's rare to find bulbs by themselves. You will typically need to buy it as a combo like this product.

Creates a very cool environment

Totally unnecessary but fun! 3rd party apps can connect to sports (have the lights flash your teams colors when scoring, etc..) and movies (creates a theatrical feel) and more. Have fun!

Does not work as advertised.

While it worked great in the store demo, it works randomly at home. Typically, the message I receive is no connection with Hue. Not always, again random.

Excellent Lights
