These are fun, for the most part useful lights. The colors are vibrant but the app needs some work rather then relying on 3rd party ones.

Great product for the entry level person who wants to give home automation a try. Excellent color availability and cool programs to automate light and times for turning them on. A bit expensive but worth every penny especially considering the expected lifetime of the lightbulbs and the incredible energy saving they provide just by switching to LED.

This was purchased as a gift for my husband. He love anything that can work with our google home. This is such a neat idea. We have since purchased a light strip and a white starter kit also. My son has one of the white bulbs in his room and he thinks its a ball. I was able to connect the whole system with both our google home and my son's Echo dot.

I've been using Philips Hue bulbs for many years now. They really add to a space and create a great and fun ambiance. I highly recommend trying them. Yes, they are pricey but if you keep track of sales you can get them for less. I got mine through Best Buy with 20% off.

I'am glad I bought them. The only complaint I have is the connection to other apps and your voice commands because sometimes it doesn't work

We love that this comes with 3 lights and a hub. You will want to download third party apps to work with it for the best results. We also use it with Apple Homekit. I use the apps IFTTT (If This Then That), Switch On, and Hue Pro. Worth the $3-5 bucks as the app that comes with Hue, stinks.. and they know that, and want you to use 3rd party apps.

These sets are really great at replacing standard bulbs with an almost infinite range of color. My only complaints are the cost, which is excessive, and that the remotes don't fit in standard wall plates. While they work fairly well with Apple Homekit, Wink and Alexa, they don't really integrate with the rest of the lights and switches. For responsiveness and reliability., you need to use the Hue remotes and/or app control. I really wish they could be controlled by Lutron or Leviton switches without jumping through IFTTT hoops.
