I purchased this kit so I didn't have to change the lights for every holiday. I bought this and the 21 lightbulbs. They seem to work ok but not flawless. There were times when I would ask Alexa or Google to turn off the lights and one light would still remain on. But ask them a second time and they would turn it off. Working with just app, seems to work without problems.

I purchased these lights so that I could control them from anywhere to make it look as if I am home. Now I use them all the time since I can change the colors whenever I want. I don't think they use much energy as they do not heat up.

I love these lights.. They give my apartment such a different look in our living room for parties, movie nights, sporting events, or just relaxing. We paired ours with the Google Home device so they're voice activated. Solid purchase.

Great in idea and lots of fun. Connection can be a bit flakey at times.

My husband wanted me to get him a Harmony remote for Christmas. and he talked about then getting Hue lights for the whole house. Well guess what, are whole house except the basement (track lighting) has Hue lights and we love it....

easy set up ,would recommend for first person use lightning set.

Ive found these lights to be a cool gimmick if you have the right fixtures but extremely unreliable. If you like the idea of being able to turn your lights off and on & change their colors with an app & voice control, these are supposed to be top of the line. They are very expensive and don't produce a lot of light. I got them at a discount but I still wish I would have returned them. They fail half the time. For some reason or another, they wont turn on , they wont work with the app, voice controls fail. Theres not much support. Its just not worth all the hassle. If you buy them, make sure you have the right type of light fixtures. They recommend no dimmer switches. I find the colors are fun if you have kids or a party but they don't provide much illumination compared to a regular bulb.

Figured it would be gimmicky but I actually really enjoy. I use with Google home so voice command to cut on. Especially the porch if forget to turn on can just tell it to cut on while laying in bed. Yes lazy and unnecessary but hey

I've wanted to try these for a long time. Finally decided to pull the trigger. Glad I did - now I'm hooked. I have 4 separate zone of lights I can control with my smartphone and looking to find ways to add more. Highly recommend!

We bought these lights to work with our Amazon Alexa unit. We absolutely love the functionality. The app and interfacing to Alexa was easy and other apps out there allow for special seasonal themes. Highly recommend.

At first I was not interested in getting these lights for our home but my husband wanted them. Turns out I love them. Very fun for mood lighting but I like being able to tell Alexa to turn on the lights when my hands are full.

Easy to install and awesome with an Echo Device. This started as a project to help my parents with my disabled sister. I've managed to set up all up and it's made things so much easier for them and for me.

The kit works better than I expected. I really appreciate the HomeKit integration. HomeKit and it's geofencing capabilities allow me to automate the lights coming on when I get home at night and that's been super useful.

While having ambient lighting is not an essential item in one's home, it is a fun thing to have and experiment with. Only have it set up in 2 rooms and a hallway right now, but will probably add more rooms eventually.

We bought the starter kit, a light strip, and a couple of bloom lights. They connected easily thru our Wi-Fi, synced everything with the phone app, and voila! Everyone loves to put the lights on then coordinate the colors.

Bought to replace Sylvania Lightify. This system has much better options and support. The only thing I miss is setting default from power loss that Lightify had. Tons of options to chose your lighting schemes and placement.

I decided to treat my place and turned it into a smart home. Philips Hue lights did not fail me. They are a great addition to my place. They are dimmable and change colors with voice command. Love this product.
