It requires some planning to really have a good experience with these lights. I have hue bulbs in my living room and bedroom, trying to always use HomeKit. I've seen these scenarios: * 1 light is unreachable temporarily * lights not responding through HomeKit, but working through the hue app * lights working when manually hitting the HomeKit buttons, but not on automation triggers * lights not responding when setting a scene These are all pretty small problems, but take away a lot from the experience. If you have a scene to set everything off, and 2/3 lights turn off, what do you do? You can manually turn off the other light source, but then it's not going to come on the next time. Instead I end up switching between "Home" and the Hue app, hoping something will respond soon enough. Needless to say, this is more frustrating than just using a wall switch. Another thing worth considering is how this will interact with your physical switches. You can pick up a dimmer or "tap" for each room, or you can try to only use the lights through apps. Only using apps quickly becomes more cumbersome than switches, however. All in all, it's really cool when it works, but it's very frustrating when it doesn't -- and for me at least, it doesn't work at least a couple times a week.

very simple to instal and use. if your looking to upgrade your home this is the way to go. but still a bit pricey thats why the 4 out of 5 stars,

It's amazing what the hue lightning brings to ambience in the home

Lights are great I can remotely turn them on and off and change the color. The only complaint I have is the colors aren't as vivid as I would like
