The included instructions basically says plug it in, connect, and follow the instructions. I had to search online for better instructions. I would not recommend it to someone who needs step by step instructions.

These will wow you if you've never used them before. But eventually that wears off. So far I haven't had any problems and they do add a different mood to the room. If the price dropped I'd buy more.

The Phillips Hue product line needs more development time. The range of the wifi is limited. The color intensity of the bulbs is lacking.

Nice product but again limited in user color spectrum control. The hue app isn't great either. I also rate this expensive for its limited color control.

Needs improvement in my opinion. Colors aren't as vibrant at pictured and bridge is not wireless with large power adapter.

Both Gen 2 and Gen 3 top out at 800 lumens, I upgraded from Gen 1 which was 600 lumens, but it's still not bright enough. I've slowly started to unscrew the bulbs and replace them with normal bulbs. I really enjoy these and take advantage of all the features, GPS tracking so they auto turn on, or the 'good morning sunrise' feature to wake me up each day, but just wish they were brighter. :)

I am using a wireless service that needs 2 step authentication, and setting up this device on this network was truly a headache! However, after setting up the device using a Netgear extender I had some fun, but it didn't last too much and every two-three days I had to reconfigure the wifi hub again and again and again. Finally I decided to return the device.

Very dim lighting. Obviously these are "mood lights" and not for true light. Returned the product.

It is a neat set but unless you change colors a lot you might as well just get plain white bulbs.

Nice lights, but took three times to set up before it worked. Ok with Alexa--not great!

LIFX will provide more and adequate light if use for ceiling as flood lights. This is good for desk and stand lamps. Recommended for appropriate use. Connectivity is more stable than LIFX bulbs.

Amazing product if the bulb is directly in the bulb holder. If the bulb is in a bar light the colors are not clearly transmitted.

These lights are amazing for a variety of reasons. First, they are very easy to install and set up. They work perfectly with the phone and also are comparable with Amazon echo. They have an array of colors, they can dim, and there are so many varieties that are excellent for many uses. There is an app which comes with pre-set themes which are wonderful. Everything from a relaxing theme, theme with natural daylight with passing clouds, to even a disco theme which have the lights in zinc with the music that is playing. I really enjoy controlling the lights with Amazon. It is so easy to simply say "Alexa, turn off the bedroom light" once you are comfortably tucked into bed. These can also be turned on and off via the app on the phone when you are not home. I often look at my security camera to check on my dogs and will turn the lights on to if I get a motion detector notification that someone is approaching my home. These lights are also great for my husband who is an artist and needs multiple lighting to create his works. I am very happy with my purchase and will eventually change all of the lights in the house to Philips Hue lighting.

Went back to Bangkok and it didn't work, re-check the electricity and device specs are recommended.

This item is not good as lifex my friend had the life x is better than this one

It seems like it could be great but falls short with consistency and software.

OK you need great internet to make this product work. If you don't have great internet like fiber optic. Don't invest. Never could work on my ATT Uverse 10mg.

Colored lights are fun in clubs and on signage, kinda lame in the house. Ended up returning it a few days later.
