I like them a lot... I ended up getting the color ones a month later. Replaced the whites with colors in my living room, bedroom, and dining room.. I moved these white ones to the hallway and kitchen.. I like the fact that not only I can use the app to control my lights, but also with me google home mini.. and set routines .. so I barely even need to open the app.

Work great, very easy to controll via Hue app, or Google Assistant. Even my young sons love using the google assistant to turn these off and on. Love these bulbs.

When you have kids it’s just simple necessary to have lights you can control from anywhere THE END LOL

These are not my first Hue lights, but they are my first 4 pack of white Hue lights. They're pretty expensive for light bulbs until you do the math (still expensive, but at least somewhat justifiable). We have some colored Hue lights and I love them, but the price is a bit out of my league to do the whole house. These white lights are great and a 4 pack for under $40 puts each bulb at a more reasonable $10 per. And they dim 100-0% so you get more use out of them than a typical LED bulb. I have it integrated with Alexa and they have never given me any trouble. No disconnects, no odd drop outs, and no failure to respond. Simple white wifi lights, but I do love them. If they last as long as they're supposed to, I think the $10 each is a fair price.

I'm a Philips Hue convert - I once thought they were silly and unnecessary, but these bulbs work in concert with Amazon Echo and with the smartphone app so seamlessly that I've got about a dozen in the house now. I love being able to turn on all my lights from the comfort of my driveway when I roll up. Plus, the savings from LED bulbs is worth it in itself. Definite all around winner.

Great Google home controlled lights.... I just installed these in the Fam Room fan. Love controlling them via google home. I have these in 4 different rooms now, and plan on adding more.... Makes turning the lights On/Off fun!

Glad to pair these bulbs with Echo to add to my smart home capabilities. My daughter has difficulty reaching one of the lights in her room and these works perfectly to power her light on/off easily. Now I don’t have to run upstairs to assist her with turning the light on. I’m still learning the various abilities. Having a difficult time pairing with Echo at times but overall happy with the bulbs individually and looking foward to adding more around the house.

They are easy to set up & use. Being able to turn them on &off with my phone, timer, or Alexa is a huge plus for a busy lifestyle. It’s also great if you forget to turn off the lights when you leave for the day or nice to come home to a house that’s lit up after dark. Add in the fact that these are energy efficient & save money on the monthly bill this is a must have for every household.

Face it...who needs a washer or dryer automated? But lights? When walking up the steps with hands full of laundry, I can ask for the lights to turn on. When I forget to turn off a bedroom light before getting in bed, I don't have to get out of bed! When leaving the house, I can turn them all off with one command. Hue app is not consistent between iOS and Android. And Google home interface is more limited than hue app. They need to fix that. Would give it 5 stars except for the cost. If it is reliable over time, I will add a star. Would definitely buy again.

These work great for anyone who’s looking to get into smart home automation or expand what they already have. Very bright lights, love being able to adjust the brightness on them from my phone, Google Home and Harmony remote as well

I love these bulbs! I love being able to turn the lights on and off in my kids' rooms, as well as adjust the brightness to use it as a reading light and then a night light, using my smartphone or Alexa.

Fast easy setup. And they Dim as well. Also if you have a thunder and lightning program although they are not color they will be really popping bright during the thunder sound

Just added these to my system which already had some color bulbs. So easy to set these up in the smartphone app. I use them in various lamps to go on and off for evening use mostly. Such an easy thing to use. The integration for voice with Apple Homekit, Google Home and Alexa is also easy to set up and trigger with voice commands.

The main benefit of these bulbs is the ability to dim them to whatever percentage you like in any socket. I strongly recommend starting with this pack over the the white and color starter kit. The hub that comes with this also works with the color bulbs, so if you want the expensive color bulbs buy them one at a time later. It would generally be a waste to buy color capable bulbs for most rooms. Using the Amazon Echo to turn the lights on/off/dim may seem like a gimmick but honestly it does come in handy. I plan on buying the motion sensor as well for those late nights I come stumbling into the house.

Everyone is looking the voice control for the lights. Only downside is a expensive but take your time getting what bulbs you need. Definitely with it in the long run.

I love these bulbs. They are a bit expensive, but are well worth it. I linked them in with my Echos (Plus & Dot) and I control all main avenues of approach's lighting. I can set all the lights to dim and very dim to save energy and turn them all on or off with just speaking a few words, awesome. Who would have thought a 1948 house would be a smart house; mine is and its great.

I have several smart lights throughout my home and as I only have Philip's brand I cannot review in comparison to others. At first I purchased some of Philip's color changing bulbs along with a color lightstrip that I placed along the back of my flat screen for a fun media experience. I enjoyed them so much I decided to get the white lights and place them along my hallway and exterior of my home for the auto on and off features that the Philip's Hue app has as an added convenience. After digging further into the Philip's Hue app and 3rd party apps to control the bulbs, they've gotten even better. From entertainment to added security as you can create your own setup for room to room auto on/off, which can also be applied to the exterior of your home. Maybe your out of town or just away and would like to flick them on/off over the internet, log in to the Philip's app required. I know I do. Or maybe dim the kiddos hallway light at night while applying an exact auto time on/off. I do. One of the features I use is the auto on when I get home, thanks to IFTTT. They're great and the possibilities are endless. Kind of on the high end on price compared to what I've seen online or in store. The color bulbs produce a great color; again I cannot compare to others.

As a full-time student and worker, I have a tendency to wake early for work and stay up very late reading for school. As such, falling asleep in a reasonable amount of time has been nearly impossible. I started on a kick to hack my natural melatonin by transitioning lights to warm tones and slowly to off. It started with my bedroom but then it moved to my master bathroom so if I got up in the middle of the night I didn't have blaring lights waking me up. These bulbs are perfect for a bathroom vanity lighting. I have a bright mode for the morning, which is perfect for morning routines, and a warmer tone for a relaxing evening bath. I have the lights set after bedtime to go to nightlight mode when triggered. The "nightlight" mode isn't as orangey as the ambiance or color lights but it's sufficiently in the warm range that it's not jolt awakening at night. I am absolutely addicted to Hue lights!
