The concept and bulbs themselves are fantastic. However, the app makes pairing with voice assistants annoying. My family members can control all lights in the house, including my bedroom, if they are vague with their commands and there is no way to disable this.

The Philips Hue Bridge is required to control these bulbs, even if you are going to use Google Home. Otherwise, they're just really expensive light bulbs. The requirements should be more clearly stated in the description. I'm sure the bulbs are great, I just can't use them without spending another 60 bucks! I bought 2 four-packs and a Google Mini together. Well played, Best Buy. Well played. I waited to long before realizing I needed the bridge now I can't take them back. I would not suggest these to anyone as you have to have a bridge to make them work.

Purchased some additional lights for my Philips Hue.

The light bulbs worked great for a month but then all of a sudden were not compatible with Alexa. They work with Siri off of a single device and work with the Hue app, but the whole reason we bought them was under the assumption they worked with Alexa.

I bought these thinking they would work with my Google Home right out of the box... but, after reading a long drawn out paper.. I find out I need some kind of other Hub... not happy. So, I'll be taking these back and find something else.

I didn't realize I would need to purchase the bridge for extra bucks to be able to use these with my phone. I hope they last a very, very long time to make them worth how much we spent...

I like these bulbs and they work great , but i have to give them 3 stars cause they only come in 60 watts no brighter. I just wish phillips would make them in a 75 watt or brighter bulb

Good addition to my Alexa controlled home but a few bulbs had to be repaired and finally stopped working after a few months. For the cost better reliability was not asking too much

Got these to go with my smartthings hub and the connectivity is not great. However that is probably the smartthings hub's fault. The lights are way too warm in color for my liking.

Bought a google home hub and these lights together to be able to control my bedroom lights with my voice. Got home and was not pleased to find that these bulbs had to have a “bridge” to connect them to WiFi separately from the google home and have a different app. I returned them and bought lights that didn’t need a bridge or a second app to control the lights. Now I can control with just my google home hub and my voice. Product description mentioned nothing about this bridge. Be careful before you buy.

I'm not sure if it's my router or the bulbs, pretty sure it may be a combonation, the cheaper bulbs are delayed and slower the Color more expensive, work better. $$

Kind of a pain in the butt. Great concept, it needs a switch over ride so when you shut the lights off and don’t have a device in hand to turn the light back on.

If Best Buy sold the 4 pack of the multi white color pack then I would’ve gotten that. But if your looking for only simple bulbs then this pack is for you.

Thought I can use my Google hub and mini to control this without a bridge but you have to have the bridge. I would go with GE if only want lights.

This is a set of bulbs that do as advertised but due to the inability to control levels of brightness I returned and went with the later generation.

Connectivity with my Wi-Fi system not very reliable. Using with Amazon Dot. Alexa does not always recognize a location. Product returned.
