I turn them on and off from four different rooms with my Amazon Alexa/ Dots. I also program them to come on or off at different times of the evening or night. They make my home look like someone is there whether they are or not. Secondly they provide good light or you can tell them you want mood lighting in a subdued setting or colored lighting to suit your feelings. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my Phillips Hue and White bulbs.
