I bought these lights for my living room which didn't have any light switches that controlled my lamps, so I needed a solution that let me turn on / off all of the lights with my phone. It does that job well and the colors are pretty cool. I'm happy with the purchase for sure. The one thing to note is that these lights are not as bright as normal bulbs, so if you are worried about that you may want to get the lux bulbs or something else.

When you're bored and you got the iPad out with the DJ booth and you kick on the hue lights on party mode and flip on some Skrillex The awesomeness is so awesome you can't even hear your neighbors pounding on the walls

These are good if you are trying to just add an accent color - but to use for actual lighting - it falls below average. Also, the Hue App could use some expanding.

You need the hub that comes in one of the starter packs to get all of the features of this light. If you are looking at these lights and know that, you probably don't need to read the reviews. You know these are awesome and want to expand your lighting system.

I had already purchased the kit and wanted to extend/expand the kit for my entertaining area. The application works great on my iPHONE and even have a android app for my kindle. Its the must have for a networked house with areas you want to showcase.

Get ready to consider purchasing multiple Hue system starter packs and add-on bulbs like this one. Once you see the amount of control you have and get into the scene functions you will want more bulbs in every room of the house.

I love the hue bulbs, but I have been out of town when the bridge is disconnected. My lights switches are in the on position and my lights are on until I return to town due to the fact that you can't control the lights when the bridge is disconnected. The bridge cannot be reconnected until you return home and disconnect and reconnect the power to the bridge. The good thing is that the bulbs do not get hot.

these lights are a blast change colors , dim, all from your smart phone. you can have patterns, sunsets, rises, ect follow you when you come in dim when you pass. operate from Kenya if you want. lots of fun. Try it.

Worth the investment if you have the cash. I've got them in my entire office and home. We use it in our presentations and also in our show room. The apps on my ipad and android phone all work awesome.

These lightbulbs have so many benefits and change the way you live. You can set up timers and thing to have the lights turn on at sunset or when it rains. Great addition to any home.

I love my HUE lights. If you want full control over your home lighting system and forget about switches with a automated Wi-Fi lighting control system when you have the bridge.

It is a great bulb and works better then all the bulbs I've bought so far. Only issue is ive had some bulbs that dont autoconnect and you manually have to throw in the serial number. When its one bulb not a big deal but we had around 20 so it did get quite annoying. Also the greens arent that great, doesnt provide a true green

These bulbs worked better than the R30. Lights were good and so were the colors.

hese lights are very sleek and fun. The possibilities are also endless with with various apps. Light will come one when you approach your house if you wanted.

I have the flood lights of these and decided to get some for the lamps of the house. Not as bright as the flood lights but that's to be expected.

I was very happy to see they added cheaper plain white lights to the series. Now I have them in my hallways and stairways.

I bought the Philips hue starter kit for my house, I absolutely love it. I had to go out and buy more bulbs for the rest of the rooms.

A must for anyone that loves lighting. Give the home a totally different look at night.
