You need to have the hub to connect bulbs to the internet, but really, really great. Can be controlled by Alexa or Google Home, and the light tones can be shifted from warm lighting to cool daylight and everything in between which is nice if you decide to change the lighting tones in a room, or change tones for the time of day or mood.
