We have this light setup in our foyer and it gives the room a nice glow in the evening. It's fun changing the colors. It also gives the home an occupied look when we are not around.

I bought 2 of these and hooked them up to my hue bridge. A hue bridge can handle up to 50 devices, so these were great additions to my collections. They are super bright and add a nice background light.

Certainly not a need item but that said, it’s definitely a fun item! Uses for accenting your Home are endless! With all the possibly colors it’s useful for all year/all holidays !

Love the whole HUE family the colors are astonishing

I own an hour full of Philips Hue bulbs, in every variant. We were planning to have a party upstairs in a fairly empty space, so though why not buy a hand full of these to light it rather than turning the overhead lights on. Not the best idea. They produce so little light which is completely directional, that unless you're sat within a foot of it or want to be blinded by the pinpoint of the LED in the middle, you can only use these as accent lights pointing at something, like the wall to create a reflective surface to bounce the light back into the room. If many of these were put around a room you could create some lovely effects, however don't expect it to illuminate the room. Also, and this is a major problem of every one of the Philips Hue bulbs, it produces less lumens - doesn't shine as brightly - at lower hues - i.e. darker colours. Now this is to be somewhat expected, a dark blue isn't going to be as bright as a light blue, however to create mood lighting, you don't want really bright colours, so you end up with a dull bulb, producing even less light. This little lamp is made of a hard plastic and seems to be very well made, however being shiny white plastic will scratch very quickly. It would be better if it came in both white and black options. I tested this for one evening before returning it. If you want to accent something in a room, under a grand piano, a fireplace, in a bookcase or on top to create lighting effects on the ceiling then this is great. However for the price. You have more flexibility if you buy a standard hue bulb and an bulb extension cord. This, unfortunately is a very overpriced toy light that underwhelms at every turn and is a real disappointment in the Philips Hue range.

Loving The light this make my setup look really nice.

Pretty pleased with the purchase. The light is small and portable, bright enough but not overwhelming. I kind of wish it had a power button (the light is always on, so you have to plug and unplug).

I love all my Philips hue products. They are very easy to install and they work everytime! Hue Blooms are particularly nice. I put two behind my TV for a great movie watching experience.

I use behind the flat screen TV to a bias light behind the screen (TV is in the corner of the room). Added bonus is that you can change the color and brightness to set the mood for the movie!

Everything works as expected. The light does a nice job. Had a little difficulty updating it. It took over 24 hours for it to update. I eventually removed the light from the app and re-added it and then it took just about an hour. Not sure what went wrong. The only other issue is that Best Buy packaged it in a box that was 4 times the size with very little protection. I received the package and the light inside bounced around throughout the delivery. Everything in the original package was outside floating around in the previously stated 4X too big of a box. I would have returned it if it hadn't worked.

has the full spectrum of colors, very vivid blues and greens. doesn't seem to dim as low as it should but I think that is a preference thing. it certainly gives off a great amount of light.

Must have if you already got the other Hue lights.

This is a nice small accent light but you can get more brightness for your buck but purchasing a hue GU10 or a PAR16 bulb and mounting it in an inexpensive IKEA spot lamp. If the area you want to accent is a small dark corner and you don't want to bother with buying a separate lamp, then maybe this is the light for you.

As thrilled as I was with the other products in this line I thought I’d try it ! GREAT accent light!!!! I have yet to unlock all its uses but definitely enjoy !!

I'm a big Hue fan! This bloom was the one I needed to provide a wash of color to my setup in my man cave. It blends and ties all my colors together nicely and makes for great light therapy.

It's a light that changes color. Can't complain. Paired easily with my bridge and works with the app. I can change it to any color I want except white or soft white. No biggie for me
