Bought this for my wife for christmas to add to her starter kit and light strips. Definitely adds a nice solid color wash on our walls. For what its intended to do, it does it well.

The Philips Hue Bloom is the perfect addition to our Hue collection. It’s small, but provides powerful, colorful lighting. Going to buy another one for the family room.

There are better things from hue. This light is smaller than it appears on the box and it is pretty ugly and light. If it was heavier it would stay in position better

Love the vibrancy of all of the colors. Love the endless color options and the connectivity of apps to make it change colors with the beat of the music you are listening to.

I love these blooms. Great compliment to my hue system. I have 2 of these ,one on each side of the tv. I compliment them with 2 taller lamps so i have a nice multi color zone.

I added the bloom to my Phillips Hue collection and liked it so well, I'll be adding 2 or 3 more Blooms for extra effect! Worth the money and very easy to set up and operate.

Replaced this light by my bed. I aim it on the wall. Works really good and very good to be able to change the colors. Works with Alexa and and Google home systems

This is one of those products that you'll love if your needs match it's specific capabilities. I purchased a few to accent indoor holiday decorations. Beyond that, the light is not very strong (120 lumens) so don't expect to uplight a wall let along reach an object across the room. To my amazement, I just discovered that it doesn't support Hue Light Recipes which makes it impossible to match other lights in the same room. I now find myself looking for places to use them which at $80 a light is frustrating. That said, if you have specific items that you want to highlight year round and already have a Hue system then these might be perfect for you.

This light really brings color to your rooms, walls, anywhere you place it. I love that it’s smart home capable. I can change the color with my HomePod.

The Bloom has limitations. . .(a) you cannot add it to hue recipe because there are some hues that Bloom cannot reproduce. (b) if you have a hub and are using Hue Wireless A19, Bloom has to be controlled individually on the IOS/Droid Application. Can be very annoying. (c) if you have a party and want to have a strobe effect, Bloom does not do that. It is good for accent lighting, however in my opinion it needs to have more weight, so that it wont get knocked over by your pets. My cat already broke one. tisk, tisk,

I tried the play bars and didn't like them and we're expensive. On sale, I replaced my living room lamp with two of these on the side of the TV.

i got this for behind of my 65" curved Samsung TV and i love it, its bright but im thinking about getting another one to make it even brighter.

The bloom was very easy to attach to the back of my TV and integrated with the 3 bulb started pack hub very easily. It is the perfect addition to the starter kit.

Good lighting effects but not all that strong for large rooms where you need a few linked together but when you do the effect is great. Plug and light and easy to control via app.

It was easy to setup with my Phillips Hue and Alexa. Like The flexibility that I can put it anywhere with an outlet and can control it from phone or Alex's.

Although it can’t display all the colors that the newer bulbs are capable of. It adds a great ambiance to my rooms. It feels pretty solid.

I wouldn't say this is ideal for direct lighting, but it's been great for washing a wall, etc. with color for ambience. For instance, I use it in my living room to act like an Ambilight television (using an app that uses your phone's camera to control Hue lights to match colors on screen). The color reproduction is pretty good, but Philips Hue lights still tend to have some trouble with greens. Otherwise, it's like any Hue light - it added to my setup without fuss and integrated into the stock scenes (in the official Hue app) with no effort on my part.

My girlfriend bought it for our room and it creates such a nice ambiance. You do need an extra piece though to change the colors!
