I have this in my bedroom for a nice mild light splash late at night and early in morning. However I also have the philips hue bulbs in the room and the colors don't seem the match he bulbs. Seems a little "whiter" also it would be nice if it were dimmable to a lower output.

I love these hue accent lights and have them in each side of my fireplace projecting their light on the wall and they add a lot more vibe when the fireplace is on and they are set to mimic fire or candles (you need a App for that, but there are some great free ones).

The setup was so easy. The light could be changed to lots of colors at different brightness, an excellent way to ad accent to your painting on the wall.

I ABSOLUTELY love everything that HUE has! Someone showed me their lights, & I immediately grabbed a starter kit. A week & a half later, I had a total of 20+ Friends of hue products!.. I have 1 of these under a futon, & another behind 1 of my Tv's...

I got this as a compliment to the other hue lights, I use it in the bedroom to light the path as it get time for bed. My daughter set it up as an alarm as well, provides enough life to help with those first steps out of bed.

The lighting schemes really brighten up an otherwise typical room! I have four in the kitchen, one in the hallway and two in the living room, behind the TV. The color reflects nicely off the granite countertop in the Kitchen! There isn't much on my walls, so the lighting really add to the mood and atmosphere! Tropical Sunset is my favorite lighting scheme right now. Internet connectivity adds convenience. I can turn the lights off remotely if I forget. I also have them set up to turn on once I pull in the driveway!

Don't expect this to light your entire room or wall as its not very bright. But if you are looking to do some indirect lights, put behind your TV for bias lighting, its great. I'll definitely buy another one for my kitchen

Great Product I bought a pair bulb and a wireless dimmer. They are all great lights with a few things to keep in mind. The Dimmer was super easy to set up. Its magnetic so I have an junction box covered with a steel cover, this just attaches to it and looks like a real switch. I would make sure that you add it to your devices before you pair it with a bulb as just pairing with the bulb makes it a stand alone combo so I had to then add it as a device and had no issues. Bulb, could be a little brighter but works great for ambient light.

These lights are cool and add ambiance to any room. Great for lighting up those dark corners or behind the tv.

I love these lights and have almost changed all my lights in my home to Phillips Lights. And these Bloom lights definitely help create the atmosphere that I like in my theatre room.

The light is much smaller, not very powerful, and will light up a 5-6ft radius area. The power cord tucks under the base and the it doesn't seem well thought out.

I have a few different Hue products in my home theater, and I just added a second Bloom. It's great as an accent to hit unlit areas, but do know that it's not really powerful enough to make a major impression on its own.

These are great stand alone led lights, they reproduce any color I throw at it! I have s total of 14 Hue lights in my house, mostly Blooms but also the Iris & Light Strip. Started with a starter kit of normal screw in bulbs.

This particular light for the hue system just cost way too much. I rather buy a whole set of hue lights than spend it on this. Also it can't produce all the light colors.

Perfect for back lighting or setting an ambiance. Tons of color options and easy to change from my phone.

I own many different Philips Hue lights and I would have to say that the color seems to be more vibrant coming from the Hue Bloom. I’m able to discreetly place the Bloom behind any area in my home office to provide a wonderful accent in lighting, Paired with my Hue Strip Lights, it does provide an atmosphere that makes me more productive as well as relaxed.

Love this light. Makes a great accent light that can match your mood in color and brightness. Easy to set up and use.

I have this set up behind my TV and I love it. It won’t light up a whole room so if that’s what you need this is not for you. Buy this to use as an accent light or ambient lighting.

This was a good addition to my Hue collection but the only two things I will be critical of is the price ($60) and the fact that it is not that bright even when the other bulbs are dimmed to 75% I heard that the Iris is brighter but it is also $100. The build quality is very good. It doesn't feel cheap but i knicked it when I put it behind my entertainment center and it sounded like it is made of ceramic. So I imagine that it won't take much to damage it.

This device is a great addition to a hue setup in your home, provided you have a clear use for it. The concept is a little odd: you're basically blasting the light against something else, like a wall, to generate the ambiance. This is not a lamp replacement by any stretch, as it hovers somewhere between to bright on its dimmest setting and not quite strong enough on its brightest, resulting in what is best described as "scary" lighting of a room. Where I can see this excelling is where you want to spotlight a certain room feature with a moderate amount of color.
