The glue on the back of the strips did not take dispite me cleaning and drying the surface. The app that works the lights does not update to the most recent verison when you apply the update which may cause you to keep hitting update to get caught up. The lights look great if you don’t nind applying your own glue but honestly you could just buy lights with a better range of functions.

Having the Hue system with Bridge, makes it easy to keep adding to your home. I purchased this for a project but ended up putting it behind the bed room TV. I have another one on my mantle. I use Alexa and set up a few scenes but primarily the grouping and times to have shut off are a must in the Alexa app to ensure they don't stay on all day or night.

A bit pricey but very well made. App is very functional. Good brightness. Multicolor.

We bought this as a gift for our teenage daughter. She has been enjoying it since Christmas without any complaints. I have noticed it is bright, as she has attached it to the top of her dresser, so it is about eye level. The color changing offers a soft glow to the room, which is striking. Overall we are happy with the purchase, it appears to be strong enough to last, flexible enough to be useful in different placements.

These things are great lights as they are, but they are the newer editions recently released by Philips so they have not be fully utilized yet by us. We were planning under-cabinet lights, but with the new edition, there is only ONE company that makes the connector pieces for when you cut these and they have not had a chance for the new models, making most of these useless for us currently.

The Phillips hue light is a great product. This is our second time purchasing this product. We had the first set for a little over a year, but one night we forgot to turn them off and they stayed on too long and the light that out. Will remember not to do that again. We bought another one before Christmas. We absolutely love these lights. They make for a dramatic and illuminating entertaining experience for sure.

Lights work great and the setup is very easy. I would recommend gorilla glue or double sided tape to further secure them however

Let there be light! Okay so I’ve always wanted lights above my kitchen cabinets but the traditional route was way too pricey based on different contractor experiences. These were so easy to install and add a ton of ambiance to the kitchen area. Can’t recommend these enough as accent lighting for the home. Though I’m not entertaining now I can’t wait to have guests over to set theme night moods.

Used for under cabinet kitchen lighting, it is possible to splice this into cat5 to extend from cabinet to cabinet to cabinet, but I wish Phillips made this easier to extend from cabinet to cabinet or make 90 degree bends. Wish there was a cut line more often then every foot. As far as app, ease of use, support to other apps and voice support, no other light strip comes close.

pretty cool if you have a large setup as it can get really bright. If it's green and not white when it's first on, that means it might be bended and that's not normally how it is. So make sure it shows up completely light up in good yellow/white light as it turns on first.

I love Philips Hue products, they are like the Apple of lighting. You are investing in an ecosystem when it comes to hue. I use a different brand of lighting for switches, but I have Hue in all of our lamps, theatre, and the master bedroom. There are cheaper options, some of which are brighter, but they are lacking accessories or the apps are not as refined.

Great product and easy to install and control. I would definitely recommend this, I can have a schedule when to turn it on and off and it make my life easy. Especially if I am not home

Hue, google home, alexa, smartthings compatibility, and the color options and ysage is great. We used tbis for our bar room under the counter , its bright enough to use as a room light.

I use them for Undercabinet lighting. Colors are great and its very easy to use.

Used it under my kitchen island to create the mood. Works great with the bridge and app

Has a good amount of light output went on and the colors have a rich town to them. Set up wasn’t necessarily frustration for you as I was never able to get it to connect to the Internet and so I’m only able to use it via Bluetooth connection with my smart phone. The downside to this is if I forget it on I can’t turn it off once I’ve left the house.
