I have one of these behind my tv and now placed these on the edge of my tile baseboards in two different rooms. Great for controlling light in a room using Alexa.

the best light strips they are a little pricey but the integrations with homekit and the other hue stuff its a great wall garden

I bought this strip because I messed up my other one by trying to cut it and then attach an extension to it. I don't know what the folks @ Philips were thinking with expecting people to be able to line up those 6 tiny pins into the end. I broke one of the pins in attempting. Maybe I was doing it wrong, but I dunno. It works now. With the extension on it. Hopefully I won't be needing to extend any further additions. I'm giving it a 5-star rating anyways because the lights are great and do what they need to do.

I stick with hue because they work out of the box and have a great app. Its that simple.

We have many Hue lights in our house and we just added this one as well. There are limitless lighting color combinations, and they create an amazing atmosphere.

Bought this to illuminate the wall behind my TV setup. It does exactly what I needed it to, and adding it to my existing Hue ecosystem was a piece of cake. The double sided tape that comes on this light strip is somewhat fragile though. It started to peel off at the ends while I was installing it. Fortunately, replacing the tape should be easy, but I guess I expected slightly more for the price. The build quality of the actual strip seems good at least. Be aware these are hard to bend if you want the strip to follow any curves or contours.

Upgraded to the new lightstrip as I have the 1st generation and wanted to extend my lights even further in a particular area of my kitchen. I should have made the switched earlier as I can see the difference in the quality of lighting and the colors are brighter. Love having the strip to have on low in the middle of the night when it comes to making midnight bottle runs for the baby. Love the new lighting as it makes it even more enjoyable being in the kitchen cooking up meals and hosting from time to time.
