I recommend using the Hue app for more complex needs.

It has preset lighting, which is customizable along with dimming capabilities. I prefer a switch for kitchen lights, but just use the app or Alexa for all other lights.

There's no way to reuse the sticky strips so I'm gonna have to buy a whole new one when I move next year
