Calm in a bowl
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the negative comments about the limited 3 hour battery, this light is perfect for an evening on the patio or balcony. It can still provide some light away from home if you are spending a day at the beach or a park. The variety of colors and settings make this the perfect light for setting a relaxing atmosphere anywhere!

Bright Light, Decent battery life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy the flexibility that this light provides. Since it has a battery you can move it to any place in your house. Currently I am using it behind my TV to sync the TV up with the light (with some software). I wouldn't describe the battery life as being long but it seems to last for as long as I generally need it to. I will most likely be picking up another one of these when they go on sale again.

Useful during power outages
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although there are less expensive items for power outages, the HUE portable table lamp provides users the ability to have light and portability. I would recommend this if you need light where you may not have an outlet and in nurseries since you can adjust color and intensity.

Excellent accent light
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HUE eco system has been easy to adopt to. This little light is a fun accent light to paint the walls with, meditate to, use as a night light or what ever reason you can come up with to throw some color around.

Awesome portable addition to Hue lights
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Portable, rechargeable, and unique. Can use connected or portable. Connects to all other lights and apps. Wish the battery lasted longer when using as portable but can use anywhere once charged!

Portable mood lighting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hue-go, we named it Victor..get it?.. Is an extra element to the Phillips hue lighting system we use in our home but we keep it on our covered porch. Changing the light to match our porch activity is extra nice... Low and warm for friends over and bright and cheery for morning coffee. It's portability makes it perfect to take down to the firepit for extra lighting. I love the entire Phillips hue system.

Great light. App sligthly disappointing.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This gets brighter than I would've expected. It can be used as a dimmer side lamp. The different color options are great. The app to handle it is not quite as good as I would've wanted. The light is everything it promises to be. I have liked it a lot.

Hue Go Offers Versatility in Contemporary Lighting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Hue Go is one of my favorite lights in the Hue collection. I use them as a "sphere of color". I sit one on each boring looking AirPlay speaker, plug it in, and select a color for the mood desired in that room. this is my 5th Hue Go. It sits on top of a large, ugly, boring Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Hue Go has feet, just for this use, so you look at the flat edge of color. Timers are set for automatic on/off color change throughout the day. Another added benefit is, because it is also battery powered, should the power go off, grab one and go - you have a light for several hours without searching for a flashlight. Most will probably use this light as a rechargeable carry around mood light. We don't. They each stay in a fixed location. For us, it is the "color ambiance" that they provide that is so cool!

Great accent light even without bridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The light was awesome right out of the box. It is extremely bright and the various presets work well. Unfortunately it is held back by the need for a hue bridge to use all of its functions. The battery lasts roughly 2-4 hours so it works well as a table piece.

Portable color therapy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this initially as a nightlight and some color ambiance for a "bad day" bath... but the nightlight isn't quite strong enough for late night bathroom trips. It is still pretty cool. I wouldn't classify this in the must have category of my project, but it is still fun none-the-less. There are a lot of things you can do with it using triggered apps or IFTTT. I found that the manufacturer's default scenes were kind of meh so I went with a third party app and set it to simulate deep ocean hues to wind down. I might end up moving this out of my master bath and using it elsewhere for notifications. I'm not sure yet. The nice thing is, it is battery operated and plugin capable... so you can theoretically move it around wherever you go. This is more of a fun product than an essential IMHO.

Excellent!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These lights are very beautiful have a wide range of colors as well as white they're great accent lights and they can be put anywhere they are rechargeable and can be placed somewhere without an outlet also control with Google home app as well as the Philips hue app. There is only one problem that keeps me from writing this 5 stars and that is the following: one of the benefits of this light is that it has a 2-hour standby when it's on battery power this is great and it saves power on the light however if it's in a spot that is not readily accessible this option turns into a problem.the reason it is a problem is because once it hits the 2-hour cut off the light shuts down and kills power no longer using the battery when this happens you cannot control it with the app or with Google homes app. You have to physically go turn it back on and then it's controllable again through the software. I have these lights on top of my cabinets in the kitchen so this is not a viable option for me otherwise I would have to turn the lights on by hand every 2 hours which means I got to get out my ladder and pull them off the cabinets. this is easily avoidable by leaving the power cord plugged in when the power cord is plugged in the 2-hour cut off no longer applies it will stay on as long as you want it to stay on and it is always controlling both of the apps as long as the AC power is plugged in. there is no way to turn off the 2-hour power saver even though in the instructions that implies you can however there is no way to do it that I have found and nobody has been able to tell me how to do it yet. But even with this issue elites are amazing they work very well and they are very very very pretty well worth the money and well worth the minor inconvenience of the 2-hour power saver if they're within reach otherwise just leave your AC plugged in and you'll never have a problem.

Creates the perfect ambiance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion, this is the best product in the hue line of accent lights. It has a wider range of colors. Best of all, it's portable therefore allowing complete wireless lighting.

Nice light
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for a new lamp for the bedroom. After pricing lamps and shades, and adding a Hue bulb, this light was a actually a very good deal. The light was very easy to add to the hub, and works well with the dimmer switch. It takes up only a little space on the night stand. Using an app, it is now programmed to simulate a sunrise just before the alarm clock rings. It also is programmed to comes on just before bedtime as a soft glow. The ability to change the colors is fun, but not a daily use feature.

Great portable smart light
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great portable smart light. I put 3 of these outside my home for Halloween and ran a spooky program. Neighborhood kids loved it. I actually ended up buying 4 of these. Now they are in kids rooms plugged in.

It’s Awesome but has one flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this device, especially because it integrates into the philips hue ecosystem. Its bright and works flawlessly with the Hue App. The only thing I cant understand is that this light makes it really difficult to set up at an Angle ( plugged in with the power cord connected ) because of where they decided to place the power cord. They allow you to place the light at an angle only if its going to sit on the edge of a table. But if you want to place the light at an angle in the middle of a table then your going to have to find some sort of way to rig it because they basically expect you to only have the light facing straight up if its not on the edge of a table, which is extremely dumb. I wish the power cord location did not hinder the devices use, especially at this high price. I had to figure out how to lean it against something so the light can stay angled in the middle of a desk, I shouldn’t have to rig an $80 product, it should just work.

Love these
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have two of these Go lamps, a Bloom, five of the A19 Color, and three Hue White bulbs. BY FAR, the Go is the best of the set. The color is so much more rich than any of the other models, the object has a battery in it so it will operate without being connected to power, and has scenes programmed for things like sunlight so you can use it as an alarm and wake naturally (like the old Phillips HF3520 Wake-Up Lamp)

Excellent wireless lamp
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Added this to my existing Hue setup. Easy to add using the Philips Hue iOS app. This model has the benefit of being both a powered and battery operated lamp. It easily goes anywhere in my apartment and has a simple look to match a variety of decor. It blends into my existing configuration as a bonus lamp for the main living room. I also utilize it as an alert lamp in conjunction with IFTTT for things such as monitoring weather conditions (rain) and garage access. Another fantastic add-on in the Philips Hue product line.
