This light is great for taking out on the patio for candle light on a breezy evening or adding accent lighting in any room. It has a nice selection of light scenes from the button on the bottom and is programmable with your phone. Makes a great nightlight for the kids room or bathroom. All around versatile solution.

Have a bunch of hue lights everywhere in the house. This was a great addition for an accent light under my clear glass coffee table where I wasn’t able to plug a light in. Also great light to have on at night when watching a movie and don’t want it to be pitch black or very bright. Great inbetween

We only had a single lamp in each of my two children's rooms and the light wasn't bright enough. We had the white ambience light bulbs. Getting the Hue Go for the opposite corner of their rooms was perfect. Plus, I let them "pick their color" at night when they're going to sleep if they've been good.

Great accent light that you can take outside on the patio I use it when I’m grilling cause where we have our grill our patio lights don’t quite light that part of the backyard very well.solved my problem! I’m buying a second one.phillips hue careful they can be addictive.

I use this as a table lamp next to the bed . It is awesome .

I love the light. I am able to turn off the lights at and have this light on to brighten the house enough that it doesn’t disturb my family or birds that have turned in for the night. It’s rechargeable which is nice also. Very light and easy to move if needed.

After buying two to use as uplights, I realized that this was best type of light from Hue. These allow you to throw light onto walls and color the room much more then bulbs that are masked by a lamp shade. Attached photo was taken during the day with a lot of natural light.
